2024-09-22 19:24:16 +0000 UTCSeason eleven hype! This ep gives me big Resident Evil-type game intro vibes in some parts, I like it. I like how clear it is that Dean is no longer holding the mark. His “speak plain, tell us what happened” and how he treats Jenna while he’s stitching her up is (at least initially) so much softer and gentler than he’s been in a long time. He was barely like that with Charlie in their last encounter, even. I don’t really see any similarities between the Darkness and the leviathans, personally. Other than that they were both released at the end of a season. I guess they’re both very old bad things too. “Did you smooch the Darkness, you sonofabitch?” LOL. Here’s to another season! Jenna was previously in 7x22 There Will Be Blood as the alpha vamp’s girl, and I also saw her in the Arrow pilot forever ago. 17!
