Big fucking F for Charlie, bro. I think I was definitely one the “this fucking sucks” train when the episode first aired in terms of needlessly poor writing, I’m not sure how I feel about it now. I don’t really remember much past this point so I have no idea how this plays out, so I’ll withhold judgment for now. Deaths are usually impactful on this show, even the ones that seem to be permanent. Then again, this show is almost as lenient with their afterlife as TVD is. I guess we’ll see. But for the record, this fucking sucks. The lying is fucking exhausting, I agree. Although I guess like 70% of this show wouldn’t happen without them consistently keeping secrets, eh. It’s one of their defining characteristics at this point. Charlie’s death is crazy sad, and she definitely didn’t deserve to die. Something that made me kind of laugh sadly was something I jotted down and have kept in my file since. Right after Sam showed Charlie the picture of the Book of the Damned in 10x11 I wrote an “oh fuck” at the bottom of my page. Immediately came flooding back how that ends for Charlie. Seemingly anyway, like I said this show is crazy. I hope we see her in some way again. All sadness aside, I took a note while watching that just says “LOL I DIDN’T REMEMBER THAT THEY WERE THE FRANKENSTEINS.” That’s fucking hilarious. Got a pop out of me even though I knew what was coming. Monroe Styne (the father) also played the dad in Mary Kate and Ashley’s Holiday in the Sun, and it was driving me insane while watching trying to figure it out in my head, lol. Fun fact, that movie is the film debut of Megan Fox. Also Eldon (they guy who took off his arm) was Zeus in Once Upon a Time?? Interesting. 17!

2023-12-21 14:17:51 +0000 UTCI'm a total Dean stan, so you'd think I'd be pissed at Sam for what happened. Well, I'm not. They've both done things that have resulted in people dying. There's no reason why what Sam tried to do shouldn't have worked. Sadly, Charlie made the decision to leave and go off on her own. I understand why Sam did what he did and I understand why Dean would be mad with him. Dean has the right to be mad. Just like Sam had the right to be mad before. Both thought they were doing what they needed to do and didn't really think through the risks.
