I just can't believe the bizarre strangers Claire comes across. Like she does this massive trauma dump, and they barely blink at it. Also, who offers to kill someone for a person they just met? Just weird. The whole torture thing with Metatron bugs me. Dean was one of hells torturers for a decade and he has this crazy evil mark that makes him bloodthirsty, but giving Metatron a couple papercuts was all he could come up with? Come on. It would have been so satisfying for him to really go ham on Metatron, and it would have made Sam and Cas's reactions make more sense. I get that they can't get super gory or anything, but they could have had us outside the room with Sam, and just hear the torture happening, so that our minds could have filled in the blanks. I just don't feel like Dean is quite crazy enough sometimes. It kind of sucks for Sam to suggest that Dean should be able to get over this based off willpower alone. It just feels a little unreasonable doesn't it? Overall I don't actually have that much to say about this episode, which is annoying because 10th episodes usually rock. Great reaction as always!
