Brother stans be wildin' rn.
Love that DJ Qualls has achieved special guest star status. Can’t remember if he already had, but I loved seeing it here in the opening credits.
Love Garth, but the episode is pretty throwaway motw otherwise. Although Garth’s “Sam can be a bit insecure sometimes, but for good reason” had me furrowing my brow, LOL.
The brothers not being copacetic is kind of a pattern, but honestly when we’re in it at these points it gets too boring for me to really buy in all that much. Like the answer is always both of them are doing wild shit, and then they fight over whose shit is wilder. I kind of wait it out tbh. I know the relationship between the brothers is the core of the show (or at least the idea of family is), but at times like this it can get a bit grating. At least in terms of what it does to the fans at least. I’m excited to keep going though.
Bess previously played a nurse in 5x08 Changing Channels, and some other things about her stuff made me laugh. Her most recent credit on IMDb is playing “Mary Wolf” in When Calls the Heart, and her first ever credit was for Big Wolf on Campus, a Canadian show about a werewolf. Bookended with wolves, and here we are now, lol.

Now that the punch line for the season has been uttered Iv'e decided to enter my two cents into the conversation. Normally I at least try to defend the other brother when they get in these situations but this season it's hard to defend Dean. The show kept making double entendre's about Sam's situation illistrating the clear parrells between Sams situation and a rape. Honestly poor sam this show is obsessed with taking away his right to consent.
Jeremy, during the early days of this season you kept asking /questioning about when sam was going to to realise some thing was off., but that was never really a possiblity. You see back during the begining of Season seven Reality gave way beneath Sams feet. Dean in a bid to save him built him a new road. He told Sam to trust in him. That Dean was Sams Older brother and was the only one in the world who can beat Sams Ass. Those words were the building blocks for Sams new reality. So when he felt reality slipping away from him this season what else could he do but cling to the building blocks that Dean built for him. Meanwhile deans gaslighting him about whats happening.
Then we have the fact that Sam remembers the horrible thing that gadreel did while sam was possessed. No matter how much we, Dean, and even Sam himself says that Sam is not responsible for kevins death it does not change the fact that Sam remembers killing kevin.
Finally Sam gets his body back. He talks to Dean. At this point I think Sam still has the ability and thought to forgive Dean. But Dean runs. Think about it for a moment plz. Sam just got his body back after a horribly tramtic experience and Dean ran. To myself and to Sam that just drives home the selfish reasons Dean saved sam. Is it any wonder he just wants to be work partners.
Even after that this episode shows their relationship in a state of repair until Dean pushed and it crumbled. Finally Sams right All he was saying that in the sam situation he wouldnt trick Dean into letting an unknown elemnt into his body. I cant see how thats wrong.
