I don't think they are trying to get sympathy for The Deep they keep showing all that stuff because it's hilarious to watch The Deeps life fall apart I personally find his life crumbling downward spiral so so funny and they keep adding the sad sappy music it just completes it for me and i burst out laughing at The Deep every scene he is in because its what he deserves and its so hilarious.
