There are so many questions with the end of the season like you said that I dont know if they'll be answered in 4. But I think the biggest thing overall is I really wanted to see Wards redemption at least a smidge more. The 18th time skip just throws a whole wrench into everything lol Theres just too much going on, but I also enjoyed it lol

2023-08-28 23:13:59 +0000 UTCOkay!! Lots of thoughts for season 3. Overall I liked the season a lot but there are a few issues. Like you mentioned, Singh just falls flat. When he’s first introduced I thought he was going to be really interesting and evil but then he kinda disappears and hesitate to the pull the trigger every other time we see him interact with the group. He had lots of potential but I think with everything going on they kinda dropped the ball on his character. Like you I also wanted to see Ward’s redemption arch. I think he was really heading in that direction but everything got fucked when he texted Singh (where did he even get his number??). And to me it makes no sense for his character at that time. Especially for him to then be like nah nvm actually I want redemption and to die by one of Singh’s men?? I like him dying and dying to protect Sarah but how he dies by Ryan (a literal rando) feels off. I agree that the reactions between JB and big John feel off. I never felt their strong connection like it should have been. It felt weak. I felt it was stronger before big John returned tbh. HOWEVER, I will say his death scene did have that emotion (and I did cry lol). I really feel for JB, losing his dad and his home with all their memories together (and pouge memories too) is incredibly hard. Like you I do like the poetic nature of big John and ward’s death. I wasn’t a fan of big John so I’m okay to see him go. It was nice to see him finally choose his kid over gold in the end tho. A bit of a redemption for him imo. Also I cheered very loud for the Cleo/Pope kiss and the JJ/Kie kiss. I’m loving all the couples this season. I even still love Sarah/JB BUT the cheating was so out of left field and unnecessary. I wish they kept that out. It does make it hard to root for Sarah/JB. And Sarah, although I love her, her character took a bit of a hit. All that to say wtf is this 18 month time skip?? I have so many questions?? Did they get more gold out? What happened with barracuda Mike? What did Kie’s parents do about Kitty Hawk and Kie when she returned? Where the FUCK does everyone live? What’s the story with big John’s death? With all the Ward sightings do they think he was actually alive and is now dead again or?? Where the hell is Rafe and what is he doing? How much money did they get? How did they cash it in? How did they explain this big, giant crazy story to everyone? Did they explain the cross?? Are JJ/Kie a couple? Are Cleo/Pope a couple? (The answers better both be yes) I’m really hoping for a lot of flashback scenes in s4. I’m okay with the time skip if we get more context/flashbacks but others it feels off. I’m generally not a fan of big time jumps and this is no exception. We both went “black beard?!” At the same time so for it to actually be him is wild. I’m all for another adventure, I’m unsure how old they are now but if they are 18+ after this time skip and have $$ that should help with a lot of their problem LOL Overall a good season! I really enjoyed it despite its flaws. Can’t wait to watch season 4 with you! It was cool to watch the show for the first time with you too!

It really was poetic how Big John and Ward both died at the end. They had a scene of Rafe finding out about Ward's death and he wants revenge because he thinks it's the Pogue's fault. They cut the scene so we didn't get to see it but they mentioned that in interviews. Also, JJ being your favorite character this season? Hell yeah! I know you don't do extra videos for side shows but could you please react to the Bloopers? they are very funny! Btw they had many different storylines for season 3 (they even filmed them) but they chose this one for season 3. Like Rafe and Sofia were supposed to have a love story this season but they cut it short. Stuff like that. Barry, Rafe and JJ were supposed to have a fight scene and JJ's dad was supposed to be back in the finale! Season 4 will probably answer all of our questions because they want to show many flashbacks from those 18 months
