(07:53) "one single person named niel" lol I totally love the deadpan delivery of "Uriel is the funniest angel in the garrison" line too. "My superiors have begun to question my sympathies." - "Your sympathies?" - "I was getting too close to the humans in my charge. You." Love this. (15:34) How did I never notice Alastair says the german word for "No" (Nein)??? "I carved you into a new animal Dean" - so many good quotes in this ep. I'm gonna keep listing them XD The whole bit with Alastair revealing that Dean broke the first seal always gets me. (37:03) I love the shot with the street lantern as a halo over Castiel's head that begins to flicker. "I'm considering disobedience" - iconic The angel blades look so cool, probably my fave weapon from the show. I actually saw two versions angel blades last weekend, someone brought them to the spn con I went to. That whole last scene of the ep with Cas and Dean in the hospital is definitely one of my fave scenes of the season. When I told my friend that this is one of my fave episodes after my friend watched it themselves, I think they pointed out that I often like the episodes with a lot of emotional pain in them... there might be something to that... ooops? Loved the end prediction about what will happen in the next episode XD Hope you have a good day Bex

Cas is too "close" to Dean..... *cough cough* *wink wink* XD I think it's hilarious how mild your reaction was to the reveal that Sam is drinking Ruby's blood XD like, "yeah, that makes sense" Season 4 Sam is such a little bitch. Dean went to HELL for decades for him, and his response is to lie to him, call him weak, and tell him he's whining. Ugh. I do think the torture could have been a little more brutal, but it was on TV, so you can't have everything. :p I will say I think Misha gets better at the fight scenes. I love Jensen's acting in this. Great reaction as always! Sending happy thoughts <3

2023-05-26 07:40:20 +0000 UTCTHAT SHOT OF THE WIIIIINGS. Honestly probably my favourite shot this show has had up to this point. It’s so fucking cool. What an intro. SUCH a good mythos episode. *Everyone* was on their A-game here. I wanted to highlight how good I think Alastair is in particular. He is such a standout here for me, this actor is brilliant and the way he fucked with Dean is so good. This episode felt like a movie to me. It’s so packed, ugh. I don’t have the proper words for it. 9/10 for me probably. BANGER. The cop (from the intro) is a stunt performer and the angel (also the intro) has only this credit on their IMDb. We have reached uncharted waters; these are the only two people credited in the episode that we haven’t seen already, LOL. Maybe that’s a good thing? A reason why so much focus was put into the characters we already know. 17!
