Damn straight Cas "likes" Dean. (Well, maybe straight is the wrong word XD) You even clocked it earlier than most people when you saw he was upset at Dean and Anna kissing. :) Dean's speech at the end is just awesome. I like Dean and Anna getting together, but I think the scene runs a little long. Dean's face when Anna forgives him is heartbreaking. Pamela!!! Damn that woman is thirsty XD I love her. Making good progress! Great reaction as always! Sending happy thoughts <3

2023-05-17 07:31:54 +0000 UTClove this episode so much, a good 9 or 9.5/10 for me! it was cool seeing everyone together and working toward finding more about Anna, it was nice to see Pamela again too! I like how we have more reoccurring characters now! it’s nice to see Dean and Anna connect and Anna tell Dean he needs to forgive himself, once again Sam being a smarty pants and bringing the angels and demons together, a lot of people think cas was jealous but I don’t really read it that way, so far it seems angels don’t have many feelings all they know is orders and obedience but it was said a few eps ago cas is having doubts and wondering about what is right and wrong and I think he sees Anna kiss dean and have these connections with others and I think he might be jealous that she has felt things and lived a life and I think it gets him thinking anymore, also uriel is just so irritating lol, the last scene always makes me tear up, obviously what he’s talking about isn’t real but Jensen is so amazing he really sells it and it’s just heartbreaking to watch, even Sam tearing up too, just a top notch episode all around.

2023-05-16 22:46:21 +0000 UTCThis one-two punch of episodes are definitely a highlight for me, not only for this season but for what I’ve seen of the show overall. This is easily the deepest angel shit that we’ve seen so far, and the most main story-centric episodes we’ve seen since the premiere imo. So much good stuff. The Dean and Anna thing felt a little random but that also made it feel kind of real I guess, plus it coming with the hilarious Sam/demon Dean/angel aspect built-in definitely makes it clear the bar for me. Plus Anna is just so good, I really enjoy her. Uriel has cemented himself as a decent heel for me in this ep, we got to see more of him being snarky instead of just being an asshole. The scene with him and Dean in the dream barn was a lot of fun to watch. “Angel food cake.” 😅 Cas didn’t get much time, but what we did see was really good, I think. Him constantly being told he doesn’t know what human emotions really feel like seems to be affecting him. Observing Dean and Anna’s kiss and more importantly her forgiveness of him for essentially giving her up to be killed had him looking almost confused, but also like, jealous? No one willing to do that for him, I guess. Ties back into Anna’s discussions about how being an angel is wicked ass. Ruby continuing to show that she’s on team Winchester is tight; literally got tortured for what seems like hours(?) in order to get Alastair to a point where he’d believe she was desperate enough to show him where Anna is in order to save herself. Plus Sam of course, being big-brained and letting the kaiju fight happen without them. Kudos to Ruby for sacrificing what she did for her part of the plan while Dean and Anna smashed in the impala, LOL. I don't really know how to phrase how impressed I was with Jensen this episode, largely for that final scene. It's so impactful, and you can FEEL it's importance as it's happening. Written what I think is very realistically, and acted beautifully. Not too overdramatic, not too toned-down. Exquisite. Also special shoutout to Pamela for being so genuinely warm and kind and funny. Just so personable. So calm with the lightbulbs smashing above her head and the panic room having a panic attack. The way she talks to Anna when she meets her for the first time is beautiful too. "Makes me look extra psychic, dontcha think?" I love her. A strong 9/10 for me, I’d say. Love this ep. Didn’t mention it last time, but the actress who plays Pamela went on to be in The Walking Dead, and her name is “Thunderbird Dinwiddie”, which is stupendously cool. 17!

Sam repeatedly reminding Dean of "reality - porn" XD "our last night on earth" - "you're stealing my best line" -nice pick up line guys Oh it was just last episode when you said Dean should hook up with an angel, I found the timing on that prediction very funny. (31:30) I think the official ship names are fairly simple for these two ships. I believe it's DeanAnna and SamRuby. "See, he has his weakness. He likes you." - ah Castiel my boy has good taste. From this two parter I prefer this one. The direct angel and demon confrontation is very good, getting more infos about angels and what happens when they disobey. Even though I don't necessarily ship DeanAnna, they had some very sweet scenes in this episode. The best part for me though definitely has to be that last scene of Dean opening up about hell. Love seeing all the emotion there. Hope you have an amazing day. Bex PS: damn I was one off. I'm saying 19 today.
