ACCESS TO BUILDS

First off, I am sorry about the September files being locked up. I had a family emergency and had to leave town abruptly without realizing that the files were locked. However, due to this, those who wanted access had to request it and it has come to my attention that there is a patron or patrons who are sharing links to my builds. The only way to have access to the Google Drive link is to be a Patron and there were multiple requests for the files from non-patrons. 

If you are this person please delete your patronage now, otherwise I am going to do my own individual research to find this user and share who they are with other designers to block (I won't ever give out personal info, but I will warn others of this). 

To all my other patrons, especially those who have been with me since the beginning, I sincerely appreciate you and your support! You have no idea what it means. I'm just a small business and this helps with groceries and other essentials I need to survive.

When you undercut a designer through Patreon you are undercutting a small business. Businesses like The Sims Resource garner over $5M (MILLION USD) annually while undercutting designers. They are a major corporation who gathers your personal information to resell while undercutting designers and make millions annually just from monthly supporters, not including your personal information that gets released.

I use Google Drive and pay for storage to give you guys the safest download possible. Please don't disrespect designers who charge a monthly fee or feel as if you are entitled to designers content because you believe they go against EA's TOU, that is between the designer and EA. It's not as if you're stealing from Target because "you're sticking it to the man". We're small businesses who are trying to find new sources of income besides working our 9-5's.

I received over FIFTY requests through Google Drive to a locked file in the past week  from users who were not patrons and the only way to even request access is to have the link, which is available only to patrons, which means it is being shared. Fifty requests. That's between $200-$1000 USD a month!!! When you sign up as a patron you sign a user agreement and are legally liable for breaking that agreement with Patreon and the designer.

It's heartbreaking that this has happened and makes me feel completely violated. If you know who this user is please send me a DM, or if you are brave enough to admit you are the one, otherwise I will find out who it is and permanently ban them while filing a legal suit through Patreon. 

I will be changing how I send out builds this month, but I will let you guys know ahead of time how you'll be able to download.
