thought this ep was really interesting and I loved the last scene with cas, cas is a character that immediately grabbed my interest & I love the plot for this season that’s unfolding, can’t wait for more!

Main thing I want to mention is how much I love the interaction between Meg and Sam specifically. Because I remember in my first watch-through of this show, that that question had not crossed my mind. Ruby using bodies for some reason never crossed my mind. And everything that Meg said to Sam (minus maybe the monster comment, debatable) was true, in my opinion. Plus seeing Nikki again and her acting her ass off. I loved it.
I really like this episode as a whole, too. A lot of great talking points and conversations between characters. I always remember the start of season four having like, three or four absolute bangers in a row, and this is part of that string. OH! Castiel at the end proving why Misha was so perfect for this role. He's so good, and that dialogue was fantastic. That scene makes me scared of Castiel. It also outlines a perfectly reasonable explanation as to why the boys can't just press the angel button to solve a problem now. Yes they exist, but they have forever, and they haven't been here for a reason. And the only reason they are now is because there's important shit to do. It doesn't feel hand-wavy to me, and it's paired up with the performance from Misha as he's the one giving it. It's great. Just gonna say that I’m so happy to see all the guest stars return, they picked some great ones to show up. 17!

It was really cool to see those characters again, even if it was as revenge ghosts. I love when they bring characters back I also love the scene with Sam and Dean shooting the ghosts to protect bobby and reloading, feels like a video game in the coolest way Happy to see Cas in this episode too, I love the scene with him and Dean in the kitchen. “I dragged you out of hell, I can throw you back in” chills! Also idk how I never realized because I’ve seen the episode 100x but Sam sleeping on the couch and Dean sleeping on the floor has me 🥹 I can picture exactly how that conversation went lol

Rachel

Cas might be the coolest character from any show I've watched. So excited for the next seasons!

Glad to see Nicki back as Meg for this episode, I always liked her for the brief time she was on the show. She unfortunately passed away last year at just 47 years old.

So glad to be waking up to this on Saturday morning :)

Ooof. I love the kitchen scene at the end. Dean's reaction to Castiel threatening him is just perfect. I also really love the cameos. I love them bringing back Ron, but it also kind of bugs me, because Bobby said they all had supernatural deaths, but Ron was shot by the police. Whatever though, it's still nice to see him. Sam sneaking around with Ruby just bugs me. If he really thought he was doing nothing wrong he wouldn't be keeping it a secret. Can't wait for next episode, it's always sooooo much fun :) Great reaction as always! Sending happy thoughts <3 P.S. 13

like parent telling you "I brought you into this world, I can take you out" lol

Jeremy Glenn

I can't believe he forgot the pie. Breakfast with your parents sounds fun lol

Jeremy Glenn

"I dragged you out of hell, I can throw you back in". One of my favorite lines of the entire show.

Worst crime ever: Sam forgetting the pie. Bobby building that panic room - he's a legend. Okay I had to do a little math here (gallon/liter and euro/dollar) to get this and the average gas price here is currently ca. 7.6$ per gallon (aka 1.8€ per liter). We were up to ca. 8.6 last year though. "You should show me some respect. I dragged you out of hell, I can throw you back in" - iconic! Honestly the whole kitchen scene is just another iconic scene. Castiel comes in, is barely even in the episodes and still, the impact of these scenes at the end (here and in the episode before)... (45:49) You said that right when I took a sip of water. It took all my will power to not spit that water right at my laptop screen. (which honestly is kinda ironic considering what you said...) That being said I appreciate jokes like that, makes me feel like I'm at sunday breakfast with my parents XD Really good episode. Hope you have an amazing day. Bex PS: I'm going with a six.

BexFangirl

oh and Bobby's panic room is legendary! Especially his line "I had the weekend off"

I adore Cas at the end of this episode. He’s so menacing and sincere. Chills.

Dae Umberger

Dean's lack of self worth is always so heartbreaking. I always hate hearing the "Why me?" line
