2023-04-11 10:34:38 +0000 UTCYeah, honestly I felt the sins stuff was poorly executed, in general. They want to wrap it up too quickly, which I get. But I wouldn't have minded seeing it last for like 7 episodes, ect.

2023-04-11 10:00:55 +0000 UTCIt seems to be a fairly common complaint that they introduced and then completely dealt with the sins in a single episode, and I have mixed feelings on it. On the one hand, it is a really neat concept that I wish would have lasted longer (that they're actual entities, not just sinful emotions). But otoh, I'm not really sure what they could have done to not make it boring/predictable, as the sins on an individual level are very one note by design, and multiple episodes/a whole season of that I could see getting very one note very quickly.

At the end of the episode she would ask "who was that masked man" as the lone ranger rode off. Basically he was letting his little nerd show, insulting his brother, and wondering who she was all at once. Isn't he talented.lol

2023-04-11 03:56:55 +0000 UTCWhen Sam asks Isaac and Tamara how they got started... asking how someone got into hunting is unlikely to be a happy topic of conversation. I've rewatched supernatural a lot so I don't often remember my initial thoughts on certain scenes or episodes, but my first time watching I remember being weirdly entertained by the lady killing someone for shoes and really disturbed by Isaac's death. Completely forgot the woman with the knife shows up this episode though, so that was a nice surprise during the fight. Agree with you about the seven deadly sins. I think it's a cool idea to personify them as demons (demonify?), I would've enjoyed getting some more depth to their characters, and I feel there was lost potential by killing/exorcising them during the course of one episode's storyline. However, I love so many episodes in season 3 that my smidgen of disappointment doesn't last very long. Thanks for your reaction and hope you're doing well!

The movement of the letters looks very flash animation to me. Happy we’re already on season three, man. Cruising through the show at a nice pace. As this episode goes though, it's meh for me. Not as good as some of the average middle-season episodes we've had, even. Probably my least favourite episode we've seen so far, actually. Which isn't a great thing for a premiere. This hunter couple is weak af bro, how did they survive this long? They had one flask of holy water and once that was taken away from them they were completely fucked, lol. Don’t know why Dean asked who the “masked chick” was, in reference to the blonde woman I assume. Maybe I’m missing a reference cause I didn’t see a mask. The blonde woman you might recognize if you’ve seen anything from the Arrowverse, she plays Laurel Lance, the Black Canary. 17!

They had to set the devils trap and get the trunk empty which I think points to them wanting to abduct one of the demons. Also in regards to Dean being tired, from your point of view its 45 episodes. In Deans point of view he's been on the road since he was 4. The longest Road trip I ever took was six days and my body was all trusted to he'll after. His road trips going on 24 years. Did you catch pride calling Sam "The Boy King"

I could blame it at the fact that it's after 11pm, but I think my brain is just prone for those misunderstandings... Carry On is the song for the finales. For the opening eps. they switch up songs, but it's always more special than the recaps for the casual non-opening/finale eps. I also like the visual of the new title card a lot. That devils trap symbol in there, very nice touch. When they knocked on that door of the dead family and then decided to go in after nobody answered... I don't know about other people, but I for sure wouldn't have been at the door in the time they waited to go in. Bobby the legend at work. "we kill some evil sons of bitches and we raise a little hell" - iconic I have to say this is one of my lesser liked season opening episodes, still good, but for me doesn't feel much like a season opener.
