BOBBY’S FINALLY HERE. listen, i AM a rewatcher, so im obviously biased towards my love for Bobby, but can i just say that during this whole season i’ve heard the boys refer to John as ‘the best hunter’ ‘we learned from the best’ ‘a legend’ etc and it makes me laugh cuz like— for the longest time he was the ONLY hunter they had to observe and even then the only one they really KNEW so obviously they think he’s the best, even Sam, but then comes in Bobby, the OG, the fucking GOAT, and he hits them with the holy water, the devil’s trap, the “she really is a girl, possessed by a demon. can’t you tell?” and i betcha he’s even got that you-know-what to avoid getting possessed already. no offense to John, but in my view of this show with the hunting, he was just mediocre. the boys? they fucking went everywhere, now THEY grew to be somethin’ else. anyway i love Bob, R.I.P Rumsfeld, we hardly knew ya

2023-03-08 04:14:44 +0000 UTCSeason 1 down! Yaaaaaaay :) I loved how much you were on the same page as Dean all through the episode. Thank god the horrible music is finally at an end! Now we can get to Supernatural as it's meant to be watched :p One thing that I have to note, is when you hear that soft piano medley come on, the actual title of that is "Dean's Song (Family Theme)". Dean = Family. That couple of piano notes always breaks my heart. It's one of the few things I still remember how to play on the piano XD Jensen totally kills it in this episode imo. Dean is just desperately trying to keep what's left of his family alive, and they hold it against him, which is bonkers. I love that line he says, that when John and Sam get themselves killed he'll be the one to bury them. It's true too. Dean's biggest fear at this point is ending up alone without his family, while their biggest fear seems to be not being able to sacrifice themselves fast enough. Urg. Just wanna give Dean a hug sometimes. The fact that John telling him he's proud of him is what convinces Dean he's possessed is heartbreaking. It's weird to me that when John is trying to get Sam to kill him he says to shoot him in the heart. Like, wouldn't you just go for the head? It's faster and more effective. Just bugs me. Meg after the exorcism is just the best. There's just this complete switch from cheering Dean on for hitting her, to feeling so bad for her. I've always enjoyed the way the actress did that. I loved you wincing every time they moved her XD Dude I was totally humming Bad Moon Rising while I waited for the car crash. Makes that scene so much better. It made me sooooo happy that you didn't see the crash coming, that was a great jump. I can't wait for Season 2!!!! There are a couple of gems in it :p Great reaction as always! Also miss commenting on youtube like I did back in the tvdu days, so that makes me excited too. (12:07) I didn't know latin had accent marks over some letters. Latin usually has the same pronounciation for letters as german does and I also don't remember seeing them in my latin class in school. Interesting. I agree there is no other way than to excorcise her, it wouldn't do the human girl any good if the demon keeps possessing her. "I got a yorkie upstairs and he pees when he's nervous." Love that line XD (37:45) Always makes me a little sad, that Dean figured out it wasn't John because the demon was being too nice. I love the whole scene with the yellow eyed demon talking to Dean and attacking him etc. One of my favourite season 1 scenes. How you jumped, when the truck hit the car. lol Also when you found out the demon's name was actually Tom. Perfection. What an amazing episode to end the season on. Couldn't imagine having to wait after that ending though. Hope you have a wonderful day.
