2023-02-25 05:39:23 +0000 UTCOooof. This is one of my least favorite episodes. Other than the mom's monologue, there isn't really any part of it I enjoy. I'm not really a huge fan of Cassie, especially how she's so weirdly sure that closing shutters is going to save her from a truck. Like Bugs had problems, but in kind of a funny way. This one has problems, and it feels more exhausting. Can't all be winners when you have as many episodes as they do though. I can't believe the one time you didn't read the newspaper, they put a little blurb in that actually has to do with the story. One of the side articles in the issues that talked about Cyrus's disappearance talked about the church burning down. :p At the very least I'm glad you enjoyed it :) But believe me, there are better episodes to come! (19:29) "I was really thinking they'd play 'hotel california' for some reason" lol that would have been funny. I remember this chuap-shh sound that ends some scenes was bothering me quite a bit, when I started watching the show. I agree the ghost truck itself wouldn't hold up, but rest of the story was pretty good. I always liked Cassie and also together with Dean as well. Hope you have a great day. 2023-02-24 02:04:14 +0000 UTCI thought I remembered not liking this episode, but watching it back now for the first time in years, I enjoyed it. Not sure why I thought it wasn’t good. Cool to see another aspect of one of the boys that we hadn’t seen yet, and the acting was noticeably decent throughout, too. That being said, if you had asked me how soon this fifteen-season show would have an episode with a concept like “racist ghost truck”, I would not have guessed episode thirteen. All I got for this one is the actress who plays Cassie is the (I believe still) current portrayal of the DC character Vixen; she’s the voice of the animated series the CW did, and has shown up in the Arrowverse in live action. THE BEST NUMBER BRO 17!
