I cracked up every time you gagged when they mentioned Indiana. Trust me, most of us living here hate it, too. lol. But let’s not get twisted. None of the states around here are great. Illinois only passes because it’s more progressive. Lmao.

2023-12-25 06:47:12 +0000 UTCI’m having a lot of trouble watching. The audio isn’t matching up with the picture. And I’m at 18 minutes in but it is showing the end of the episode. Which can’t be right. I can’t go more than 2 minutes without the video skipping like 10 minutes ahead but the audio staying 10 minutes behind. I’ve had this issue since episode 2. I’ve tried changing my wifi, watching on data, downloading to my Dropbox, watching on different browsers, on different devices, and it’s all the same. So I don’t the problem is on my end. Sadly I don’t think I can continue watching with these extreme issues. If you could look into it I’d appreciate it very much. Thanks!

I like your story about how they named scarecrows XD In german they're called "Vogelscheuche", which literally means bird-shoo (as in shooing away). Good episode and a little different from what we had so far, with them going seperate ways for a bit. Also Dean's "Yes, sir." at the start always gets me. I do think Meg killed the first guy, because on a rewatch you notice she said she "cut him loose" and I totally think she was making a joke :p When I first watched the episode it bothered me that she took creepy guy up on his ride. Women in this show, at least early on, are always making stupid decisions and falling down for no reason, so I was happy when she didn't trust Sam off the bat. But then I was annoyed when it looked like she made such a dumb decision, but the end of the episode ends up having it make sense. Anyway, we're making progress in the show, yay! I have so many things to say about Meg, it's so frustrating keeping my mouth shut XD Sam leaving really bothered me in this. If it was one of those things where they barely have an inkling that it's Supernatural, and they're all like, "we've looked into less" I would understand him taking off. He's been really patient, and this was the last straw. But you know pretty definitively that TWO PEOPLE are going to die. Soon. And you can stop it. No one else can. But you say, "whatever, I feel like doing this instead", I get why Dean called him selfish. Like follow the dad lead as soon as two people aren't about to be butchered. What the hell. It also makes me sad how Dean's entire body language changes on the phone when he talks to John. I get looking down on him for doing the whole "good soldier" thing, but you can clearly see that that isn't a healthy relationship. Instead of thinking, "welp, Dean's doing what he's told again" maybe think, "what could be behind him responding like that?". Is he afraid of John? What happened in his childhood that could make him fold so easily? At this point in the story we don't know. But I guess take everything I say about Dean with a grain of salt, because I am a crazy Dean fan. :p The townspeople bug me too. When they were sacrificing their niece they kept saying "there's no other choice", and I keep yelling at the screen, "you're a couple, dumbass!" If you're truly being selfless and it's important and for the greater good sacrifice yourself! Or don't sacrifice yourself, but don't give me a stupid fucking speech about sacrifice while you're tying me to a tree! Whatever. Honestly the town "dying" doesn't feel high stakes enough for people to get an murder-y like that, but I guess since it's been going on since their people immigrated there, maybe they were raised to believe that the sacrifices HAD to happen. I also think it's funny that Sam makes a big deal out of saving Dean. Saying, "you should be kissing my ass". Like, really dude? Every single episode Dean has to save your dumb ass. EVERY EPISODE. Get over yourself a little bit. Although granted, I'm probably not being fair to Sam because he bugs me in this episode. It's true though, you go back through the episodes Dean always has to save Sam. It's a little ridiculous XD Welp. This got away from me. I honestly didn't think I had this much to say about this episode. If anyone got this far I'm very impressed XD As always a lovely reaction, and I can't wait to see you get further! 2023-02-21 04:59:26 +0000 UTCNice to see the boys split up a little bit, we get to see Dean work on his own and Sam interact with someone other than Dean. Always nice to see John show up, and that ending was a bit of a nice surprise. I enjoy the actress who played Meg, too. Happy she was here. "She looked a little demony." 😂 The separation and reconnection was fast but still felt natural, it's wild what a single night removed from those emotions can do for your perspective. Drama between the boys is always good. Virtually every supporting actor in this episode is used again later in the series, the woman Dean saved being the most memorable to me personally. The college professor was also the Cigarette Smoking Man (primary antagonist apparently) from the X-Files though, which is pretty cool. 17!

2023-02-21 00:16:55 +0000 UTCWhen Mag made the driver stop at the end, your face was so hilarious xD it felt like you were catching something was off about her but at the same time you were so unconfortable to the implication of what the man thoughts were.. loving your reaction and I like rewatching this show with you.. When I rewatch it I usually start from season 4 or 5 becouse they are my favourites, so I actually forghot how good the first season was :D
