I feel the same way when I see people watching Breaking Bad. I wanna say so much and I see they're only on episode 4 lol

sorta fun fact: Psychopath and Sociopath are not psychological terms anymore. It is under Anti-Social personality Disorder. There is some biological aspects and genes that happens for a person to have this, but most often it is triggered by childhood truama/sexual abuse. Also a lot of empathy is learned, so if a parent does not teach a child empathy (through modeling or direct teaching) that person will not feel as much empathy as others or little empathy

Ok episode. Sam DOES remember what he said, that’s why he apologized. I’m looking forward to some insight from Dean, right now it seems like he’s just a bossy bully that Sam has to put up with-and there’s always two sides to every story.
This is a turning point - they get better and better now for the most part. Glad you’re enjoying! ❤️

Oh yeah, the rock salt thing! That’s a super good point. A lot of smaller things can get lost on people sometimes, that’s a good mental note to take. Them sharing little tidbits like that with the audience is one of my favourite parts of the show, cause it’s all shit I’d never think about, because it’s ghosts and stuff. It’s neat. 😊

I agree pretty much entirely with you. This episode, reflecting on it after watching it, kind of didn't really mean anything. It was a typical ghost case that featured one of the brothers revealing their thought process via supernatural means, with fairly forgettable side-characters. For some reason it feels really cozy to me though, I like it. The asylum setting put a little twist on the usual ghost story, which was at least a little bit fun. I like seeing that Sam is open to sorting shit out if need be, too. Apologizes upfront, challenges Dean because his response had weird vibes. I like it. Like "well hold on, what does that mean man." Kind of refreshing honestly.
Only noteworthy actor thing here is Gavin was also Harvey Dent on Gotham.
17!

Before I forget, 17 :p I enjoy this episode, it's not one of my favorites, but I'd never skip it on a rewatch.
We learn one thing in this episode a lot of reactors I've watched forget: a shotgun shell of rocksalt doesn't kill you. It always happens that someone gets hit with a shotgun round, and they go off on rants about how they didn't explain why those people weren't dead. Drives me nuts. Anyway, weird out of place vent.
I'm loving seeing you go through the story, and I can't wait for that moment when you decide you love this show. I know it's going to happen :p maybe not for a couple seasons, but we'll get there.
As always, lovely reaction, and can't wait for the next one!
Sending you happy thoughts <3

Fun fact of the day: in the 19th century, it was totally normal for women to be admitted to an insane asylum for crazy reasons like laziness or "hysteria", which was literally just their time of the month. 😳 craziness.
I really like this episode and it allowed Sam to air some of his issues he's feeling inside about both his brother and father. I would have loved to see what he said to the psychiatrist.

Great reaction! There is soo much stuff I want to say, but I keep having to remind myself you have only seen 10 episodes and it would be spoilery. Can't wait for you to get further into the story and get to know these brothers. My guess is 7

For me this one after the last one is also more on the weaker side of episodes, but I do like that we continue to get more into the dynamic they both seem to have with (not) taking orders from their dad etc etc.
Hope you have a good day
Bex
PS: I'm gonna stick with 12 again.
