To think he has no memory of her since he was so little when she died and then to hear his mom's voice say his name and is able to see her in person just breaks me every time. Pain to the tenth degree. 😭 I love this show.

After like two minutes on screen, I'd trust her with anything I've ever known or had, man. The energy that woman possess is insanely comforting to me, s-tier character for sure. Dean's call to John is 10/10. I love any time Jensen gets to show more of that side of his acting range, and I think because of how Dean is painted most of the time, it's more impactful. I agree with Bex, this is the episode where I fully like, *sat down* to watch this show. It's mildly frustrating, the balance between motw and SPN mythos episodes sometimes, but holy shit are the mythos episodes great when they show up. We've gotten little pieces here and there so far, but this episode was like 80% directly related to the Winchester family and I love it. Also when John showed up at the end my jaw hit the floor the first time I watched it, def didn't expect for him to actually show up this early. Loved hearing your thoughts as always man. 💚 Not much on the actor front this time, but I did find out that the actress who plays Jenny (who was actually born in Kansas) is married to Kevin from the Backstreet Boys, and apparently the plumber showed up on an episode of Lucha Underground, LOL. 17!

But can you imagine how that feels, leaving a message like that, and then as far as you know he ignored it? Ugh. Missouri is just the best. I originally knew the actor from Grey's Anatomy as the Chief's wife. It's crazy how many little things you pick up on on a rewatch, usually I start with Season 3. But seriously. Why would you ever get that creepy ass monkey toy for your children. What about that is fun? Gives me the heebie jeebies. I wish I could just say "Hey, fresh start" and land a big house. Pain. It makes me sad that Dean doesn't get more interaction with his mom. Not to say that Sam and Mary shouldn't have a connection, but Dean's the one who remembers her. :( As always a great reaction! So what better way to spend the better part of the first hour of my birthday with than watching this reaction. I have never seen a garbage disposal outside of movies/shows till date, they're not a thing in here. But I remember noticing it in a movie the first time when I was about 13 and in that film they just through the bits left on the plates in there and I thought "doesn't that clog up the sink majorly?". Took me a while to learn what it was. (35:51) That's what she said. (I'm sorry.) I love Missouri too. How she handled Dean XD Hope everyone has an amazing day. Bex PS: still going with the 12.
