I love this point and agree too! When it came to Ella being in on everything, I always couldn't help but think back to that conversation with Chloe and how having doubt was a huge part of her faith. Still hurt to watch her finally confront them and I do think so much has happened since that conversation that maybe the question should have been revisited. Still, such an amazing character, love Ella!

2023-01-21 01:10:15 +0000 UTCI think that Ella’s faith is such an important part of her life, that it was a factor in not telling her-though I doubt much thought was put into the “why”. Remember back in the first episode of season two when Chloe had Lucifer’s blood and asked Ella about having a chance to prove it was all real, would she? Ella said no, that was the whole point of having faith. Right or wrong, that was part of my view as a fan, though I did think it was shitty that she was the only one in the group who didn’t know she was working with the actual Devil. I don’t count Trixie who kinda knows but doesn’t at this time.
