Yes! I did look this up after I watched this episode and I was like "I KNEW SHE WAS FAMILIAR" lol

Jeremy Glenn

You probably found out by the time you're reading this b\c you posted this a while ago, but the older nun was in teen wolf. She was the older hunter in mexico

Kristal Whalen

Oh for sure, I love how obvious it was and yet I was still like "WHY IS HE VULNERABLE" lol

Jeremy Glenn

right? Like soon as it was revealed it was like "oh duh of course". I like that hidden in plain sight.

Jeremy Glenn

I think the theory about him choosing to be vulnerable makes a lot of sense, because if I recall correctly, didn't Lucifer get like, LIT up in the pilot or second episode with bullets when Chloe was there? I think it was one of the first teases of her seeing something divine because she was almost passed out and disoriented when it happened, I think. I'll go back and check at some point probably. Season five is hype so far.

This was my second favourite episode of 5A.. the only thing that still upset me is the scene where Linda is upset with Maze and she tells her that she is not like her mother... Of course she isn't, but Linda was actually the first to start the pharallel between herself and Lilith, when Maze was telling her the truth, and she started making excuses for Lilith ("maybe she was too young").. I know that she was talking about herself, but if you are the first to do that, then you can't be mad at Maze to do that same pharallel..

I wonder if his thing with fire then is just separate from his vulnerability or its connected in that in the end he still wants to protect her so he turns his vulnerability back on for a second lol I truly don't know but kinda cool with either

Lucifer choosing to be vulnerable really did feel like an obvious answer that still somehow I was like "oh wow" about for a second. Chloe did see Lucifer survive getting shot in the first episode after she got shot herself and since then he started getting hurt around her. I cant remember rn if he was ever invulnerable around her again though

Ohh 100%! I think season 4 will remain untouched, but I do like some of the longer episodes when they build it properly!

Jeremy Glenn

A brilliant explanation!

This season will surpass the last one, it's just longer so the crescendo builds slower..... and/or there are several crescendos and diminuendos not unlike an Overture of a Symphony. Think of the familiar 1812 Overture by Tchaikovsky - it builds and hints at the finale as it progresses, but quiets down, and does this several times before the finale and the cannons go off....

The episodes just get stronger and those threads are added, unravel and will finally all be knitted together. Remember these writers don't do 'plot convenience' and every thread is dropped for a reason. Threads may be gathered up sooner and some much later but trust in the writers as we move forward...some things you may work out, some will surprise you, I am sure. Like you, I loved season 4 because 10 episodes made it have pace and the drama had to play out fairly quickly but the reason I like this season just that little bitty more is because this one does the opposite and gives us more time to think, analyse and enjoy all the laughs, drama (so much to come) and emotions that the writers are still to lay out for us, the questions still to be answered and the incredible journeys that they have mapped out for every single one of the characters this season and next. I am always happy to spend more time in the world of Lucifer-It is well worth the wait, I think!
