It drew us in with laughs and craziness- assless slacks, Fifty Shades of Betray Maze, naked Luci and Ella at the nudist colony and then it became so much darker and as far as Lucifer's growth had been developing, worrying! It is all kicking off and your ideas are interesting too about what is going to happen and where this story is going. I cannot confirm or deny your theories as I don't want to spoil it for you but I think if you have enjoyed it so far, you will LOVE the last four episodes.
