Don't forget the wise words of another commenter, who indicated these writers are weaving an intricate tapestry of multiple sub plots to create the whole masterpiece. Like a real weaving loom, watched as it progresses with each pass - one may wonder why these apparent tangent threads are happening - but once the whole piece is revealed you understand why those earlier apparently odd threads meld into something great as a whole. Yes, Leslie (actress playing Maze) had her baby and is back now. (there was no way to write in a pregnant demon)
