You're going to love Ella! And the actress who plays Mum has gravitas - she is very talented. I dunno if you've watched Battlestar Galactica (the newer one) but it's an incredible show, and this actress plays a pivotal role there (Tricia Helfer). Anyway your idea about the diminishing of Amenadiel's powers is plausible, however I would point out some evidence we've been shown/told and see if you can deduce what's happening: We know God forbids Angels from killing humans. Amenadiel brought Malcolm back from hell to kill Lucifer, but Malcolm then killed 3 humans. So Amenadiel is the proximate cause of 3 innocent deaths...... (along with his drinking and lusting which is a non issue as Luci does that all the time) To those that might get their knickers in a knot, everything I have said was in the last handful of episodes should a person watching pay attention, so it's not a spoiler! (besides, my bet is JerBear is several episodes ahead of what is posted)
