2022-10-19 00:51:59 +0000 UTCYes Aegon is married to his sister Helena lol. Also I think that speech from Rhaenyra was very genuine. Alicent has been a loyal, loving wife. I think that’s part of the reason she resents Rhaennyra so much is because she does the “right thing” but doesn’t get the same passes. Rhaenyra is allowed to have illegitimate children, sleep with whoever and still her father rides for her lol. Also at the end Viscerys thought he was talking to his daughter. He was finishing their conversation because she asked him do you believe the song of ice and fire to be true. So to Alicent in his deluded state he said he he believed it and he said “you are the one” to make it happen thinking he was talking to his daughter.
