This page was all about acting with Io leaving me cues like "some complicated mixture of disappointment and resignation " so I spent a lot of time getting that right. Panel 6 took me at least 4 or 5 takes before I settled on something.
Anyway, here's a close up for that totally not creepy photo I decided to paint:
Whether the little boy is gently hugging the bear or strangling the shit out of him...we'll never know.
