A discussion between myself and Vajra Reagan on Lapidaries, Magic Stones, and Hermetic Talismans in the Medieval Latin West. Vajra Reagan is a PhD student at the University of Toronto’s Centre for Medieval Studies. He is the author of “The Hermetic Origins of the Liber sigillorum of Techel” and “The De consecratione lapidum: A Previously Unknown Thirteenth-Century Version of the Liber Almandal Salomonis, Newly Introduced with a Critical Edition and Translation” and the following recording is a discussion about his research into lapidaries and magic stones and their role in shaping the intellectual landscape of the Medieval Latin West.
Please note that I have another video in the pipeline that's nearly done, so please keep an eye out for that too!
