2021-05-15 09:08:23 +0000 UTCi still don't get why stefan told elena in the first place, then he immediately tells her not to tell anyone, like did he not want to share the burden alone? lol. and they wrote elena so bad this episode. elena has kept secrets before like the WHOLE entire vampire situation, lying to stefan about seeing bonnies mom, lied to elijah about esthers plan, acted like she was rebekahs friend then daggered her, lied to elijah then daggered him, the time she lied to get rose to help her sacrifice herself, pretended she was broke up with stefan etc etc. so i guess she was struggling since her and damon were already going through something kinda messy, then stefan just drops that bomb on her and now she has to lie to damon while going through a breakup.
