This is one of my favourite Caroline badass moments. The way she entered and killed those cops was so dam good also her bashing Mason up was so cool. The Stelena moment also was really well done Elena feeding Stefan her blood also one of my favourite Stelena moments. Damon actually cares about Liz and takes her as his friend that’s great to see plus he tells Elena that Stefan didn’t drink the ppl blood but he needs to and deep down she knows that he has to. Now that is a selfless thing to do and Damon does this for his brother that’s soo sweet 🥺

I've never been 100% clear about Caroline and Liz's relationship up to this point. I mean I know she is partial to her Dad. I just felt like Caroline was being 'extra' pissy with her mom in the beginning of the episode. I wasn't sure if she was doing that to push her mother away like Caroline did with Matt in order to not hurt her or possibly so her mom doesn't notice she's a vampire. Or if it was just bad and Caroline being a vampire just magnified that negativity. *shrugs* pick a theory I haven't been able to decide.

Damon could be a dick, but he has a good heart. What he did for Caroline and Liz was felt, he cares about Liz he consider her a friend for real. Also he tried to patch up Stefan and Elena, making her see that Stefan had to do something about his problem. Her feeding him with her blood makes sense because he loves her and she thinks he wouldn't hurt her so that is the only safe way to do it.

So basically Katherine compelled Masons friend to attack him until he is dead to trigger the curse and to transform Mason into a Werewolf, so Mason have been with her for a year. Not only, she wants the moonstone back the one she gave to George Lockwood in exchange of her freedom and send Mason to do her dirty work. Now we know for sure that she has some alter agenda.

You didn't seem to notice but clearly Katherine compelled that guy to attack Mason. That's why he thought Mason was sleeping with his girlfriend (Marla?) You're right she definitely knew about his curse and she orchestrated that whole thing to make Mason trigger it. I want to say that as a reaction watcher I have seen people think Damon is dumb but in reality it's the VIEWER who is just NOT picking up all the clues that Damon is. Honestly if you go back and watch the first five episodes of this season you will feel downright dumb for not picking up on all the clues the show was giving us that Mason was there with Katherine. Katherine gets to Tyler's house like 10 seconds before Mason shows up. Mason knew Damon and Stefan were vampires. He knew that CAROLINE was a vampire. He was looking for the same rock Katherine just mentioned in the last episode. He knows about daylight rings which is information he could not have gotten from the council cause they didn't know about it. He mentions 1864... there are more examples but yeah... All those clues that made Mason seem shady that we as viewers didn't notice, Damon would have.
