Secret Cleo!! (and a Patreon update)

Now that I have your attention – quick update on the Patreon changeover from payment-per-creation to payment-per-month.
Since New Year's, we've been talking with a rep at Patreon to sort through the logistics in the hope of getting it all done before our next video goes up – and not only can we not do it ourselves (boo), but there's apparently a bit of a line to have Patreon change your page for you (boooooo).
So a process that theoretically can take 2 weeks is actually looking more like a month and a half. The soonest date they gave us was February 10, but changing stuff in the middle of the month after a paid video went up didn't feel good at all.
SO, we're tentatively aiming for the changeover to happen on March 1. I'm hoping for formal confirmation from Patreon today or tomorrow, and I'll update this post if anything changes.
What will the change look like on your end?
Well, the way Patreon does it, they use a multiplier to adjust the per-video -> per-month price. (Their suggestion was a 5x multiplier – eek, god no) We'll be applying a 2x multiplier across the board, and then manually adjusting the prices of tiers #1 (to $5/month) and #3 (to $25/month). It might take a day of manual fiddling on my end after Patreon makes the change for us, but by March 2, everyone should be in their tiers with the correct monthly payment.
Bottom line: you'll still in the same tier with the same rewards they're currently getting. When all's done, the tier prices will be $5, $10, $25, and $50 per month, with a new AASS-less base-tier at $1 per month.
