2024-11-01 09:40:26 +0000 UTCtiny question: its been a while since i did any appreciable amount of studying on the subject, so...has it been found to be false, that when a non-relative (nobility or otherwise) married or otherwise engaged in relations with the Pharaoh(sp i should be asleep now; sorry), she was given the title/pronoun/? of "sister". (not dissimilar from how my sister's husband is my *brother*-in-law, and why Henry 8th of England was able to argue that his marriage to Catherine was morgantic) this doesn't change my enjoyment of the video - its just something that came to mind as I was watching it.

2024-11-01 04:55:36 +0000 UTCFor the TTRPG enthusiasts, I'd recommend taking a look at "Mummy: the Curse". You play as a mummy who non-linearly comes to life in different periods of history. You're several things: a tomb guardian, a servant of the Judges of Duat, a literal cult leader, and whatever the hell else you personally care about. Mummies are split into 5 types, each inspired both by RPG archetypes but also tied strongly to one of the 5 parts of the soul. And at your strongest, you do have all those fancy wizard powers, the most iconic of which is "divert a meteor to *just happen to* land on your target". Oh, and the backstory says you actually came from a pre-Egypt civilization and that's part of why you're unmoored from time. It's not the easiest game to get into, but it's really cool to read about.

2024-10-31 22:00:00 +0000 UTCThe video implies the Unfinished Pyramid on the US Seal came from the Freemasons, when in fact it's the other way around. It was designed by Charles Thomson and William Barton in 1782. Neither of whom were Freemasons. The masons did not adopt the symbol until 1797.
