SPRING SEASONAL UPDATE!

Ding ding, it's Spring – so it's time to let you know what's going on at OSP and what's next!

First off, this Thursday the 21 we're going to be at PAX East in Boston doing a community meetup at 6pm in the Community Room. It'll be an informal space to chat, take pictures, and hang out with us. We're not doing a big fancy panel like last time, so Thursday's meetup is the place to be. Hope to see you there!

Additionally, it's the last handful of days for our Spring Cleaning Sale. A bunch of our pins are back in  stock, with discounts! But since you're all patrons, you can use code  OSPATRONS<3  for 15% off. And all that's just stuff going on this week! Looking ahead, we're going to kick off our yearlong run of monthly Zodiac pins with May's Gemini, then June is a crab with a knife – not a joke (there'll be a knife and no-knife version) – and July is Leo. They're really gorgeous designs and we can't wait for you to  see them.

We'll also have a new pin launch at the beginning of  April, as the Norse gods Freyr and Freyja accompanying the myth of Idunn's Apples. Or as the video is titled: "Loki Nearly Kills Everybody (Again)". It was a truly magical moment seeing Red make the thumbnail for that video. Get hyped. And this video will double-feature with a hilarious video about Iceland's #1 poet and #1 menace Snorri Sturluson, going up the week before. It's always a treat when we get to deliver a one-two punch with our videos.

Some other great videos are on the horizon as well – Red's got a Trope Talk on Trickster Heroes (thank you patrons for suggesting topics in a previous update), plus a video on the upcoming Total Eclipse next month if the weather cooperates, and the myth of the Chinese Zodiac Race! On the History side, we'll have a look at some Roman Wise Guys, the story of how Athens Invented Democracy, and the start of what will be my Two Month Venice Marathon to coincide with the June Kickstarter launch of my book The Veneziad. Yaaaaaaay.

I really have to say, we are well and truly pulling out all the stops for  this book. It'll have a gorgeous stainglass-style endsheet in the back, a map in the front, interior design work throughout the book, a striking red leatherette cover pressed with gold foil for that classic Venetian color combo – and most exciting of all: it will have a complete opposite-facing Italian translation side by side with the English, expertly done by the team of Irene La Preziosa and Luke Ranieri from the YouTube channel polyMATHY. And depending on how well the Kickstarter does, even more details and extras!

To turn it over to you, we'd like to ask what you're interested in seeing us stream. Since we finished up Red's year of Zelda we've been taking it easy on streams to focus on videos, but we always want to hear what you're interested in, so vote in the poll or comment below what you'd like us to stream – games, after-darks, name it!
