2024-01-03 21:46:39 +0000 UTCI've seen all seasons of the Great Canadian Baking Show, except the latest one, and three odd seasons of British Bake-Off, and the difference between them in tone kind of surprised me. I'm not really sure why it surprised me so much. But just getting to see how different things are, both culturally and in the way the contestants and judges interact with each other. I tried out a few recent episodes of Bake-Off, and yeah, I agree with Red, it felt really mean-spirited in comparison to how it was in earlier seasons.
