Hello everyone! I am at long last mostly recovered and feeling human again. I mentioned this in the Patreon Discord as well, but I just returned from a trip to Austria to spend time with a friend where, ironically, I caught a cold exacerbated by my still-raw throat. It has been a bit of a brutal month.

However, work on the next video forges onward. Unfortunately, just before I left for Austria, my computer broke down (likely an issue with the power supply), and I'm taking the opportunity to just upgrade my slightly outdated desktop; working on the old one was becoming quite the pain.

While I wait for my new computer parts to arrive, I'm continuing research and beginning work on the script. One of the planned centerpieces of the new video is a section heavy in graphic design to help deconstruct a particularly important and interesting part of the narrative, and I think it will provide a unique dimension to the subject even to those already familiar with it. I'll admit a bit of schadenfreude on my part; as I mentioned, this next video is on the fall of a YouTuber, and this event is notable for the subject's incredible series of failures.

Thank you, everyone, for sticking with me. Taking time to recover from such severe and debilitating illness has been an indescribable boon, and I have you all to thank for being able to do such. My voice is intact and my energy is returning; I'm ready to crank this next video out. Let's do this.
