Duke won't be replacing me on narration, but he's very likely to return in the future. In that same vein, I plan to have descriptive diagrams like those used in that video in future full-length Down the Rabbit Hole episodes, starting with the next one. I think they'll add a lot to them! Special thanks to Arcaxon for working with me on those and basically inventing a whole new visual language for the show. I was able to hire these two talents only because of your support, so thank you so so much for helping me expand the show!
Because the bonus video took longer than I was expecting, I'm a bit behind where I wanted to be on the next DtRH. I had to shelve finishing the script on the next DtRH until this week. Fortunately, this one is proving pretty fast to put together. I expect to have narration done by next Monday!
I'm also getting ready for the next few months. In August, September, and October, I have three different collaborations planned with three other YouTube content creators, and I'm really excited about what each of them can bring to the table. I'm toying with a name for this little period, but I'm thinking of calling it the "Season of Collaboration." These will be full Down the Rabbit Holes, done largely in the style of the Neopets episode. I'll be meeting with one tomorrow to plan for the August one, and I think you'll all be pleasantly surprised with the guests I have planned.
I also am currently working with a composer who is making some new tracks specifically for Down the Rabbit Hole, so you guys can expect something a bit different than endless Kevin MacLeod next time! I'm working closely with him to make sure the tracks still fit the mood of the show.
