Progress Update: 5/21/18

Progress on the script goes slower than usual, but for a good reason. Up to this point, my process has been separated into research, writing, narrating, and editing phases. However, I usually would find the images I wanted to use during the editing phase, which often came from the sources I was using for that particular part of the script. However, my writing process ALSO had me looking at a specific place for a piece of evidence, and so that meant that I would have to dig through my sources to find something I needed twice, and that could be time-consuming. So, this time, I'm choosing and snipping/downloading what images I will likely want to use during the scripting phase and adding a note about which image I want to use at that point in the video, coded with a number. While this makes scriptwriting a bit longer, it will more than make up for it during the editing phase. While you guys won't notice much of a change in the video, it will make for shorter production cycles. I expect the script to be done tomorrow, narration done the day after that, and the editing
However, right when I thought I was done, I found that the rabbit hole went a bit deeper than I thought it did, and so I'm a bit behind on the script. I still expect that I will be able to finish the video by the end of this week, though, especially with this new time-saving measure.
I also have done some research into the gurdy, since I felt like it one day, and ordered some books on it that are due in this weekend. The interview with my music history friend was also extremely fruitful.
