Progress Update: 3/4/18

1. Script is done.
2. Video has expanded to be 30 mins. long, but release has been delayed to probably early next week
3. Progress updates with timeline screenshots will be released daily until this video is complete
4. New pop filter is in, recording for podcast will occur shortly
5. I'll be making a vlog about my visit to my hurdy gurdy luthiers to show their workshop and talk about the process with them.

Personally I've only watched the completed videos. Not watched a single progress report so far. I might at some point. And I understand that some people might like that sort of thing, and community engagement is important. However I am content and with the... eh... content as it is. So as far as I am concerned there is no need for regular status updates.

Your track record is excellent, you remain transparent, and you already do weekly updates, no worries as far as i'm concerned. I'm more worried progress reports are consuming your time, ability to work/relax and increasing your stress levels unnecessarily. no need to clog the tubes, right?

2018-03-05 06:59:48 +0000 UTCI may go against the grain here, and patrons, please speak out if i am the only one, but my opinion is daily updates are overkill. Not to belittle or reduce content freely given, as screenshots are practically no additional work, but the additional notifications are not my bag. There IS a point where more updates means more noise, and less useful data being conferred to us. I and agree with Callie, the extra time you're asking for/telling us about is negligible. In my opinion, take your time do it to your standard of good, then release it.

I feel like sometimes you're too hard on yourself when it comes to deadlines and such, when I think almost all of us don't mind waiting for you to put out good videos :) there's no need to feel guilty, you're taking your time to make it good, nothing to be ashamed of. keep doing you, it's awesome
