Above is a special introductory title card being added to the new video.
I am pissed off. But let me start at the beginning.
Last week was a nice and focused work week. I'm still recovering from my sinus infection, but I was able to power through it and get all of the editing done.
However, come Friday, when I uploaded the video, I discovered something: the subject of the video had claimed news footage as their own on YouTube in order to censor information about this event as much as possible. The video was blocked in every country. Wouldn't want anyone to be talking about the horrendous things we've done, now would we? We'll just bury it and hope people stop talking about it. Well I'm not letting that happen. Fuck them and fuck their attempts to bury history.
Screenwave looked into it, but unfortunately, there's not a whole lot that can be done barring a direct confrontation, and if possible, I'd like to go unnoticed by them. (You'll see why when the video launches) This meant that, today, I had to go in and remove the clips they had claimed. After some struggle, I finally managed to get the video uploaded, and now I'm waiting for a manual review for ads, as is the norm. This process can take anywhere between a few hours and a few days, so we'll have to wait and see.
The next video lined up is the second Mistakes episode, but I'm still waiting a bit longer for my voice to be back to 100%, so I'll begin work on the next full Down the Rabbit Hole and put together the Mistakes video once I'm better, which should hopefully be soon.
If people are interested, I could post the uncut version of the video here upon release. If you'd like that, let me know.
Again, thank you all for being so patient with me. I know this episode has been a long time coming, and I hope you find it worth the wait. With luck, I won't get horribly sick between now and the next video so I can be back to a more normal schedule.

Have you tried YMS's methods of avoiding copyright claim? like; mirror the footage, zoom in, edit a fish face on the news anchor, etc? You could also dub the news footage and replace the visuals with MSPaint mock-up drawings.
