Unfiltered Prison of Plastic Review - Part 2

The last half of this review is bashing the character of Lorelai for being entirely unsympathetic. If that's going to give you RSD... dip out at this point!

Unfiltered Prison of Plastic Review - Part 2

Comments

That was a great review, I really enjoyed listening to it and could've listened for a couple more hours even! ^^

Some other, much smaller points I forgot to mention while recording but are still worth considering: -The entire adventure neglects to explore the existing world of EE, throwing out the existing setting for an entirely new one with its own magic system, rules, and locations. -The Arsene Amulet, which is supposedly the McGuffin that ties all the seasons together, is NOWHERE TO BE FOUND in Prison of Plastic. -Giovanni is 19 and is nowhere near mentally capable of being a parent to Molly. He's a great big brother, but she's going to have to continue working and being her own adult, unless Gio's moms are okay with adopting her (something NOT addressed in the book). -Trixie and Feenie are introduced for barely any time before being turned into their imp/fairy selves. This matters less in the audiobook, and more when you're looking at illustrations, but it's disappointing that we get SO LITTLE of how they actually look. -There wasn't anything particularly charming or memorable about the Scaregrow or Spelling Bee, or any of the other dream bubble minions. Probably because Lorelai created them. Only Graham sticks out as an interesting character.
