Cardi, your reaction was really how ONCEs reacted when we saw that performance unfold in front of our very eyes. Excitement, confusion, emotional all wrap in one. Apparently this song was one of the front runners of the title track vs "I can't stop me" but jyp decided that the latter was a much safer choice as a title track so this song ended up not being released. However, they decided to give it to ONCEs as a surprise gift ((we dont deserve these hardworking girls)) . But nayeon said that if we really want this song to get released then it will happen and seeing the positive reactions all over the world as they trended worldwide and locally for this performance, it could be a go signal for TWICE to fully venture in this mature sound next comeback with this probably as a pre-release. This song is such a masterpiece w/ all those visuals and stage presence, and them being comfortable in their vocal ranges especially chaeyoung which sounded so good in her part, it could be one of their best stages ever. And to think that they'd drop this in the BIGGEST award show in Korea is just smart promotion on JYP's part, The lyrics were written by JYP himself and Heize (( JYP really likes Heize's work so expect more to come)), and was composed by Melanie Fontana and another western composer. With this sound they can definitely promote more in western market after this COVID situation ends soon and Jeongyeon hopefully comes back healthy. Hopefully 2021 will be TWICE's year cause they deserve everything in this world. Sorry for the long post bacardi!
