Gotta disagree somewhat on the "ubiquitous media" thing. PSL does this, hell, they just did a whole presidential campaign, based on the error that trotskyists are famous for: thinking that if you say "socialism!" enough times at people, they will magically come to revolutionary consciousness. The reality is that according to the Marxist theory of knowledge, we learn through a process of practice-theory-practice. Trying to turn random people to socialist consciousness is by and large a waste of effort and time. Organized communists should be in the people's movements, earning leadership, and recruiting primarily from the ranks of the most advanced fighters. The advanced, in turn, mobilize the intermediate. This is FRSO's strategy and it's working. Meanwhile PSL and others are basically idealist in thinking that it's socialist *ideas,* and not class struggle, that will make the revolution and build the party. This is why we practice the mass line. Education is essential, including the great work you boys do, but to actually mobilize people you have to link the general with the particular through the mass line (thank you for bringing up the mass line Hakim. I love you)
