Cadmus held his head; any second, just one more second, and he would tear his hair out! The others weren't faring no better! Long Yueying and Yukiko were slightly baffled by this situation. 

"Did he tell you anything?!" All eyes were directed at Diana. 

Diana crunched her fingers as she wondered what was going on! Usually, when Keith pulls off a stunt like this, it isn't random. He would give her notice. 

"..." Red flag. That's a huge red flag if Keith didn't tell Diana. While they all wondered, the man himself appeared.

“Keith! There are no cookies!”

“What’s going on?!” The others rushed to him. However, Keith was calm and composed as he looked down at Eri, "Eri, go with Mir and Lei and play with those plates."

"Okay." The child waddled off with the two furballs. 

Nephele blinked, “Keith, there’s no more cakes?” This was the first time she had heard about this. 

"Mmhmm." Keith nodded. That affirmation made it even more transparent. 

"What about cookies?"

"None."

"Candy?"

"No."

"Chocolate."

"No!" Keith shook his head, “As of yesterday, I’ve banned all sugar in this household.” 

“WHHATUH?!” Everyone’s words slurred together, unable to fathom his declaration. But their emotions and expressions together were enough to get the message across. 

Keith rolled his eyes, “You guys have been eating too much sweets.” This had been on his mind for quite some time: Carolyn and the others had been eating sweets every day. Their meal plans were usually like this:

Breakfast - Sweet break - Lunch - Sweet break - Sweet break - Dinner - Sweet break 

This was absurd! Somehow, they had four sweet breaks in there! Are you kidding me?! Keith was baffled since this was a lot of sugar. Let's not get started on the amount they eat each time!

How were they capable of filling themselves up? 

“Keith, this is being drastic.” Even Diana had to say something about that. 

"You all understand that I have to refill on sugar daily." It was supposed to be once every three days. The children were not the only ones doing this; Diana and the other adults were the same! 

These guys were bottomless abysses! These guys would eat all of that in a matter of seconds. 

“You’re being ridiculous!”

"We're perfectly capable!" They were machines! They were able to move and do everything!

“Really?” Keith walked up to her and brought out a scale. “Do you really want to put that to the test?” 

“...” Pure horror flashed through everyone’s eyes. This was especially so with the ladies since they didn’t want their weight to be blasted like this! Cadmus roared, “You’re playing with fire, boy! It’s fine for us to gain weight since we’re growing children!”

“...” You are not a child. 

“Yay!”

“We’re growing so we're putting on weight!”

“Really?” Keith then walked up to Carolyn and then pinched her waist. There was a mochi forming from there, “Is that what you called growing?” Growing fat, maybe? 

“...”

“I’m banning the amount of sugar that’s allowed,” Keith stated again. 

“...” That was when hell started for everyone. 

“What happened to you guys?” Long Lihua and the three stared at Carolyn and the others. Fidgeting, and their eyes were hollowed; it was clear that something had happened. Scarlet’s eyes narrowed, “Don’t you talk about us for a second.” 

“Eh?” Long Lihua blinked as she glanced at Muriel, who was confused. 

Keith sighed, “You guys are way too hyped up on sugar.” He explained, “So I basically banned sugar on the island because they have gotten fat.” And he had made the correct decision because when he looked at how they were, it was obvious how much they valued sugar. 

How could you guys act like this on the first day? 

Keith shook his head, but Carolyn tugged Keith’s shirt, “Keith, can’t you give us some chocolate?”

“Nope.” Keith rolled his eyes as he sat down, ignoring their pleading looks. But that only caused Alfia and Scarlet to hit the hardest. 

“Are you serious right now?!” “Keith, what are we supposed to do?”

“Keep going forward. That’s what.” Keith rolled his eyes as he started to listen to Aidiun’s lecture. But while he was doing this, the others were not so much. More specifically, Carolyn, Alfia, and Scarlet. The princess trio were the ones who were affected by this new thing the most; they ate the most sugar out of everyone. 

Everyone could see it as they rocked around on the instrument. That was not the same as the others, which were the same.
