Hehe, yeah I thought about making her be using her fire to light their way at one point but decided not to (partly because it would be confusing for any readers seeing the short without reading the main comic haha).

Ahh thank you, yeah the underlying details of the setting have quite a lot of room for hidden tragedy once the surface is scratched just a little ;o; I'm glad it landed here!

I love this! It really captures the feeling of the world they live in. And it's really cool how when the light reflects in Tiara's eyes, it's reminiscent of her fire abilities. You can almost see the flames burning in her eyes, even though there's nothing in the microcomic to indicate her having those abilities.

Idk if this was supposed to make me feel pain but i feel Pain. What was probably somebody’s life savings, a cat bottle that was important enough to them to store in the same box, and probably a hundred similar stories in the other ruined houses. Excellent comic ;_;
