Well, starting as a commission in 2021, it seemed like it was going to be left unfinished forever when the commissioner disappeared... but I did eventually decide just because I'd been screwed over didn't mean my fans deserved to be as well. The thought of someone reading the story, getting invested, and then not getting to see an ending is super fucking lame so I did end up deciding to finish it on my own time.
This definitely isn't something I'm planning of making a habit out of, and it's still completely heartbreaking when a commissioner just stops communicating completely with no warning, but every now and again I guess it's okay.
But yeah, this is the last chapter! I can stick a pin in it after this one and happily move on to other stories with no regrets. Despite the unfortunate circumstances I WAS still pretty happy to get a Scarlet Devil Mansion commission - I like these characters a lot and they're fun to write, and Sakuya is such a goddess for this sort of content, she's one of the all-time greats of Touhou for sex appeal. So yeah! I hope people can forgive me for taking so long with this one, especially how it almost didn't get finished at all which I think would have been very sad.
