THEORY PRACTICE - EXERCISE 2

This video is part of a small series I've done based on practice and building complicated ideas from the ground up.

Now we're onto the good ol' fashioned major & minor scales.
Get these down, and make sure you can play these anywhere without hesitation!

The fundamental idea of practicing these is to slow it down to a speed where YOU CAN'T MAKE A MISTAKE.

Then from there, you build it up. If you're making mistakes you're playing too fast.

Once you have it down the new goal is to practice the lick 5 times in a row and it has to be perfect for you to move the speed up. This means you will start at a realistic tempo and build a solid foundation for these ideas!
