Welcome new Patrons! The guided tour starts here

This post is especially meant for people who have just joined my Patreon and are in need of orientation, although even old friends and aficionados might find it useful to have most of the essential information and links gathered in one place.

Patreon allows for exactly 1 pinned post, so this will become the one that's always at the top of the list. I will try my best to keep it up to date with all the changes that I keep making to the mods and in sync with my other posts; please bear with me though, as I'm always so busy coding and fixing stuff that I often fall behind with my admin duties :-/

Where is the mod? Which games are supported?

I will continue publishing dedicated posts each time a new release comes out, but for convenience the latest version of the mod will always be attached here at the bottom too.

There is only one package to download, which enables all 40(!) VR conversions you can find on this Patreon. All titles support AER v2, which is my own version of frame interpolation tailored for Alternate Eye Rendering (see this post for a detailed description). Most of the games also support DL(S)SS, meaning that I fixed the DLSS implementation for them so that it will work correctly in stereoscopic 3D. And now, 6 titles support Ray Reconstruction!!! Here's the complete list:

I might be stating the obvious, but please note that in order to play any of those titles in VR you will need to own a legit copy of the original game.

Quick Setup instructions

Thanks to dear friend Brandon, we now have a video tutorial! I will also add some installation notes here, but for the moment please refer to the easy-to-follow video embedded at the top of this post. And do subscribe to Brandon's channel, as he will be putting out new interesting stuff soon, like the teaser video for DL(S)SS :-)

Post index

This section will provide additional information about what each of the game-specific posts contains, in order to make that huge documentation base easier to navigate, particularly for people who haven't been following me from the beginning.

Thank you so much for your support, and have fun playing some of the greatest AAA open-world games in a completely new way! Be on the inside looking out, instead of on the outside looking in!!!

Have you looked at the release post yet? https://www.patreon.com/posts/once-outlaw-111298431 Make sure you have cinematic display mode set to filled. That is important. People have missed that in the past. Also make sure you don't have frame gen on in the game or motion smoothing on in Nvidia App.

Brandon(Post Maester)

You need to have the Meta Link app installed on your system so it has access to the Oculus DLL files it will need to use Oculus runtime. You don't have to run the Meta app when using your headset but do run it once in a while to make sure it stays updated. Hopefully that should be all you need to do :) Download here https://www.meta.com/help/quest/1517439565442928/

Brandon(Post Maester)

How do I use RealVR Cyberpunk 2077 with a Pimax Crystal Super? When I go to select the VR rederer, it recommends OculusVR but when I select it and press start VR, nothing happens.

Boo theDog

Anyone else had problems getting fullscreen in Star Wars Outlaw? I have no problems getting the VR mod to work with Cyberpunk or KDC2... but in Star Wars Outlaw, all I get is a square window I can "look through" to see the game. Note: If I pause and bring up the menu, I get normal fullscreen VR (I can look around and see everything in VR), but when I start the game again the VR magic disappears and I get this square window I can look through again...

Kent Kumpula

You should be able to use the HUD sliders in the HZD tab to adjust the HUD, you will need to adjust the ppd slider a bit and hit adapt resolution for the adjustment to take effect though.

Brandon(Post Maester)

Sure would be nice if the HUD in Horizon Zero Dawn could be adjusted so its not partially off screen. Not headlocked would be even better yet

Justin

been having the same problem bro. ts hella glitchy. u found a fix yet?

Kieran Lowrimore

Turning on DLSS frame generation in cyberpunk breaks VR for me. 2, 3, and 4X all mess up the camera position and puts you on a jank 2D screen. It's completely unplayable on all three. Anyone else have this problem or know the solution? I've been messing with the settings for hours and nothing seems to impact it.

Brock

First step is to ditch SteamVR :) Use VDXR in the streamer app which should ideally default to using Oculus runtime with REAL. If it doesn't, then just switch to Oculus runtime in the dropdown at the top of the REAL overlay. Do not use SSW, at least at first. You can try it later if you want but it is not recommended and will most likely cause issues, especially if you are using 1/2 or 1/3 rendering mode. Just disable that until you have a firm grasp on using this mod and you know what you are doing.

Brandon(Post Maester)

Hi, I’m having trouble launching several R.E.A.L. VR games via SteamVR on Virtual Desktop. It seems to be likely Steam VR related, e.g. “A key component of SteamVR isn’t working properly,”. ” After many retries or a full reboot it may eventually start, but it’s unreliable. I’ve put the three SteamVR logs here: Logs: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/14R58xSIVxPA8D85sKBrBEoXJyxYae_D4 My setup Headset: Meta Quest 3 over Virtual Desktop (HEVC 10-bit; SSW default) GPU/Driver: RTX 4070 Laptop GPU, NVIDIA CPU/RAM/OS: Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, 32 GB, Windows 11 Pro 24H2 OpenXR runtime: SteamVR (can switch if you prefer) Other software: Armoury Crate present; Games & mods Multiple R.E.A.L. VR titles affected. I can provide exact titles/versions you want first. Repro (reliable on my machine) Recently I spend at least as much time getting games to run as I do playing them. Very frustrating. Thanks a lot for any guidance—and for your amazing work!

Computer Art Club

You will have to use the version of the mod that was specific to that game. You can find it on the Github page it has always been on. Since Take Two issues a DMCA years ago, Luke was never able to update that mod to a newer version of the REAL framework. Install instructions are also on the Github page for the mod. There are also videos on installing it and getting it to work nowdays on Youtube :) Good luck. https://github.com/LukeRoss00/gta5-real-mod

Brandon(Post Maester)

Does the VR mod still work for GTA V Legacy? And if so, do I just drag the files into the game folder the same as CP2077?

Shawn McDowell

Great to hear. Looking forward to giving it a try. I also love Cyberpunk in VR but right now I'm hooked on KCD2. I just cant put it down and that game world is huge.

Novel Thompson

Just wanted to put in a brief plug for Doom: The Dark Ages using the REAL mod! This game looks absolutely FANTASTIC in VR, the default overlay settings are close to perfect (DLSS and Ray Tracing are automatically included and work very well). First person movement, melee fighting, and ranged weapons are near flawless as well...I can maintain a solid 60FPS in-game (120FPS overall at 1/2 rendering with my 5090). Overall I'd say this game ranks a close second behind Cyberpunk 2077 as the best flat-to-VR port...looking forward to more games like this from Luke!

Roymus

There is a 2d screen option in the game tab of the overlay as well as "Stop VR" button in the main tab. If you want to go back to playing flatscreen normally, the easiest way is to rename dxgi.dll to dxgi_bak.dll and then switch the game to fullscreen.

Brandon(Post Maester)

Is it possible to toggle VR mode on/off for Cyberpunk 2077?

V

1. Mouse can be tricky with some games because the game window exceeds the monitor and makes it hard to reach things. You can press ctrl and tab together and then let go of tab and use the arrow keys to move the overlay around. 2. I'm not entirely sure about the 1920x1080 but probably a good idea to just set it there. You are controlling the window/game res in the mod anyways, so no reason to set it higher. 3. Recommending settings is a whole can of worms in general, so I think Luke mainly sticks to only settings that are important for the mod to function. Film grain is one of those general settings like motion blur that you just always want to turn off unless you really like the effect for some reason. Fog also adds a grainy look in that game, so you may want to try disabling that as well :) You will need to hit up nexus to grab the console unlocker in order to do that. 4. I think the recommended way is just to launch the game from your monitor like you would if you are playing flat. I don't think I have seen a hard recommendation from Luke for that though. I have never had an issue launching that way, but I have had issues launching from inside my Quest 3 before. Launching from the .exe file would be something I would only recommend trying if you have issues with the game launching, it is just an extra hassle to do that every time. I don't know for sure why those games don't get added in VD, I never launch that way :) 5. Not sure about the microcode message either, haven't had anyone else report it. Have you tried using ChatGPT or Grok to look for general solutions to that? I have found using them to be quite helpful lately when troubleshooting. Are they 100%, no, but much more helpful than doing a google search and trying to comb through links :) Have you updated the BIOS in a long time? Stuff like Path Tracing is very performance heavy, so using it in an already performance heavy game is not going to be a good experience most likely. It will mean making major sacrifices in resolution and/or other settings. I mean you could drop from 120fps and do 1/2 at 90 which would give you a decent performance bump, or use Legacy which is far more performant but nowhere near as fluid as 1/2. Same thing with DLAA, it will just be more expensive on performance, better to use DLSS Quality or even performance and crank up the resolution more. Unless the trails/ghosting really bother you in a particular game. Quality has less texture trailing, so that can be a factor. As someone who has been around VR for years, the fidelity we can reach with these games now is quite amazing, even with the drawbacks. Just imagine trying to play Doom TDA on a 3070 and a Quest 2! I think I still had a 1060 6GB when I my Rift S years ago :)

Brandon(Post Maester)

Try using the 2d screen. There should be a shortcut option for it in the REAL overlay for that game.

Brandon(Post Maester)

sup guys. I just started playing Atomic Heart, made it all the way to the first upgrade section. I switched VR off so i could select something. then shortly after that my little flat screen goes black and I cant see anything. plus no way to bring up mod screen anymore either to turn VR back on. I have to quit out of the game.

Jade Holznagel

Hi Brandon...just giving Doom: The Dark Ages a tryout with the REAL mod, and have a few questions: 1. Regarding REAL Overlay positioning: I can't get the keyboard cursor (REAL cursor) to move to the top of the overlay to adjust its position and easily set the resolution slider. I know I can use the controllers to get to the fields, but it's just easier to use the keyboard. How do I adjust the overlay so I can get to the whole thing? 2. I notice Luke's recommendation is to set the game resolution to 1920 by 1080. I actually tried setting it higher in game and it didn't seem to do anything...does the game setting even matter? 3. By default the game had a grainy, muddy look that was kinda bad...it took a few minutes to find it was the "film grain" setting, which is set to a nonzero number by default. I set it to zero and now it's nice and clear...I'd suggest adding that to the setup doc, it makes for a better initial experience in VR. 4. What's the official way to launch this game? I use Quest 3/VD. Cyberpunk adds itself to the VD Games tab, but I notice games like Doom and TLOU do not (I assume it's because of their launchers). Anyway should I use the ID launcher or the game executable? I tried both, seems like the launcher is the way to go. I can create a shortcut for it, but would really like to use the VD Games launcher if possible. 5. I get an "old BIOS microcode" alert dialog when I start the game. I did a little research and it seems to be a false error (more or less), the BIOS is good and the game runs fine. I'd rather not monkey with my BIOS if I don't have to, is there a way to dismiss this message? BTW you actually get it twice if you use the launcher! Otherwise the game looks and performs great! I tried Path Tracking and it looked even better, but FPS was shot. Also tried the DLAA setting, same deal....DLSS Quality seems to be the way to go (I run a 5090, render 1/2, 120 fps). Any thoughts on these settings? Thanks as always!

Roymus

Fixed, see newest post for the version with the fix :)

Brandon(Post Maester)

Any update on KCD2?

dan crawford

Can you send me a save file for it to chronowake@gmail.com I'll see if it works on my end.

Brandon(Post Maester)

Hi Luke, first of all, thanks for the work. The secret ending in Cyberpunk where you face Arasaka alone is broken and unseen. Could it be fixed? Thanks.

Oscar Ortuño

You should try hitting up Markmon on the Flat2VR discord Luke Ross channel for tips on MeganeX settings. He is really knowledgeable and loves his MeganeX, so he would be a good person to ask about it specifically. Definitely shouldn't look like crap on a 5090. Make sure you are using OpenXR runtime in the REAL overlay along with the custom Meganex driver that fixes OpenXR for the Meganex. To uninstall, you would want to delete dxgi.dll along with any files that have REAL in the name.

Brandon(Post Maester)

How do you uninstall your mod? I deleted the files that I pasted into the install folder but now the game refuses to start. The Last of Us Part 1. Game runs and looks like crap (RTX 5090, MeganeX).

Vincent Tuminello

The second issue is expected because the game window can get bigger than your monitor :) If you press ctrl and then tab together and then let go of tab, you can use the arrow keys to move the overlay around and reposition it. Gamepad is usually the least problematic way to play these. If you move the ppd slider and then press "adapt resolution", sometimes the resolution doesn't change? Does it work if you do it 2 or 3 times, or it just won't change at all?

Brandon(Post Maester)

i wanted to report a problem in kcd2, sometimes when you choose the ppd, it just doesnt happen, the ppd stays like before. And also sometimes part of the overlay is outside of the pc screen and therefore also not accesible with the mouse in the vr headset.

mosche biderman

Do you have HAGS turned on? This game seems to be giving some people a lot of discontinuity errors for some reason. Not sure why. Are you able to screen shot your game settings, both display and graphics, and link them here via google drive or something like that? Have you changed any Nvidia control panel or app settings for the game or globally?

Brandon(Post Maester)

Can't seem to get TLOU2 to run correctly. I just finished part 1 without any hiccups but part 2 is giving me 3-7 fps with everything on the lowest graphics settings. Running on a 5080 and Index, game flat runs at 160fps on max settings. All drivers are up to date, re-configed the mod multiple times. Can't figure out what I'm doing wrong here. Log: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vSH_j8rkACzEnTwIyJ2IbxeOzJvWFdsa/view?usp=sharing

brandon matlock

Could come down to what rendering mode you are using. If you are using the default 1/3, you can try 1/2 which should have less motion artifacts. You can also check the "higher quality AER" box in the main overlay tab to improve this some. It will cost a bit more performance though. Also, you need to ensure that you are hitting the fps cap for either rendering mode without dips, or they will not perform well.

Brandon(Post Maester)

That is great for you :) Still crashes for me when I tested on 2.3 😂 So, it may allow some people to play through that part but is still probably an issue for some people. Seemed to be hit or miss before as well. Never crashed for Luke when he tried, even multiple game versions ago. Glad you were able to enjoy that part in VR!

Brandon(Post Maester)

PSA: I've confirmed that the 2.3 version of Cyberpunk finally allows you to complete the Chimera battle without crashing in using REAL VR. In the prior 2.2 version I always had to disable the REAL mod and play flat in order to get past this point, but with v2.3 you can beat it in VR without crashing. I've noticed that Cyberpunk v2.3 is much more stable using REAL VR than the prior release (at least for me), it hasn't crashed more than once or twice in my latest playthrough.

Roymus

Using the mod with a keyboard and a mouse, i can say the mouse movement is artifacting so much that it makes me dizzy. I heard its better with a gamepad. I wish this could be fixed, because otherwise the mod is really good (playing Cyberpunk 2077 on version 22.0.0)

Daiynbcu

Just got a 5090 for this exact purpose

Naviwinn

Make sure you are putting ALL the files from inside the REAL folder into the Cyberpunk/bin/x64 folder and then double clicking on the config.bat file to run it. Don't right click and run as Admin.

Brandon(Post Maester)

I played CP2077 today again and everything worked great. I experienced no crashes. REAL mod v22.

Matt

I tried patching with realconfig in 2077 install folder using location from steam. I can see the exe, but it says error, cant patch "Please make sure that the mod zip archive is extracted to the very same folder where the main game executable is found, and not for example into a subfolder."

Jade Holznagel

You mean the end of the prologue/intro section with Jackie? Are other games working fine for you with version 22 of REAL? You will have to remind me of what headset you are using and if it is connected some way other than DisplayPort. If you want to put a copy of your RealVR64.log file on pastebin and post a link here, I'll take a look at it.

Brandon(Post Maester)

Hi Brandon/Luke I am having trouble with Cyberpunk again. Recently I played through till the end of the Star ending and the game crashed at a certain point so I tried upgrading to version 22 of the mod and I also updated the Nvidia drivers to the most recent ones as the game prompted me to do so and also when I ran the game it was not in immersive VR. However, after downloading version 22, pasting the files into the folder, running the real config file and restarting the computer, now when I try to run cyberpunk I get a black window and I can hear the music but I cannot see the game. Any ideas? I also posted here a month ago about another error after version 2.3 was released which was resolved by changing my Nvidia drivers to studio instead of game and then rerunning the batch file and restarting.

Computer Art Club

Given the choice, I would go with the 5070ti. You won't have to bother with Optiscaler. The new version has a different workaround for DLSS that has given people trouble. So not sure if the current version works or if Luke will need to do something to get it to work again. The bigger issue, is that workarounds like this could no longer work at any point in time. So if you are able to grab the 5070ti, you won't have to worry about it long term. Optiscaler is also not compatible across all games that support DLSS, so you could run into ones that don't work. You will still be stuck using Legacy with an AMD card as well, so that is definitely another point for the Nvidia side. That could change later this year depending on AMD but who knows. The 5070ti seems like the better choice overall, especially for VR mods like this. Since Luke is able to adjust DLSS parameters and not FSR ones, FSR will carry the same problem as native TAA. The shimmering around objects. For now, there is no denying that Nvidia is still the best choice for VR. It just is what it is. I wish it wasn't, but it is 🙄

Brandon(Post Maester)

hi Brandon sorry I'm rewriting this question because I deleted the thread of the other one . Also suing voice to type. I appreciate the comment about deblur that's really useful I'm just wondering if there's a collection of terms for all the other things on the overlay There's a lot there and if you're faffing and messing around with things that you don't understand it's doubly difficult I'm seriously considering a 9070XT or a 5070TI How has the feedback been so far on the 9070XT with FSR 4. with the optiscaler which I haven't yet successfully installed by the way . I think I might need to get rid of the whole instal of the game wipe everything and start again and instal the optiscaler first before I instal the VR mod I'm not sure I have the instruction page and I did follow a video on a on a Youtube website that didn't include the Luke Ross Mod I think I need to do that again because it didn't work . As you said before NVIDIA card has the advantage being more integrated with the mod. Am I still going to be limited to legacy even if I run the optic scaler is the main question I think because if that's a yes I think probably the 5070TI is the way to go because it would seem that aer it just offers a far improved experience over AER 1, of course the legacy version is even worse, and I think that's going to literally game changing isn't it in terms of the experience I'd have. If you've got any data or any feedback that people have given you about the 1970X with the Optiscaler that would be good . From what I've seen the mods that I ran I think did perhaps take the weight off the graphics card a bit but without changing graphical settings made the game look less engaging That's probably something to do with amending settings and colour gamuts and that sort of thing and as well as getting the deblur right. I suppose it just gets very complicated very quickly doesn't it which I suppose is an argument again for just having an Nvidia card where you can plug it in turn it on and off you go . 1. of the main questions I suppose I'd have to ask is even if you have an Nvidia card Do you still get that shadowed secondary image of the MPCS when they're stood in front of you is that just something you can't avoid or is that something that DLSS and/or AER 2. has managed to get rid of Sorry for troubling you but I think I need make sure I've got a note of these answers And obviously I won't hold you to any information that you give me it's not your responsibility And I think I'll probably go Nvidia i've never actually had an Nvidia card believe it or not But it's a lot of money to spend and I'm just trying to be thorough And obviously there's been a lot of negativity about the 5000 Series But ultimately I think that was a lot about expectation not delivery And cost of course which was significantly higher . Anyway apologies if any of this is repeat requests for information I know we've covered some of this ground before but obviously through my stupidity I deleted the because that was a bit disparaging about the mod and the mechanism and I thought it was a bit rude of me really So I thought it'd best to delete it . Thank you as always . Scott

Scott Thrustans

Not really sure, you may want to contact Patreon support, as it is working fine on my end, but I have had some issues myself with Patreon in the past. Are you using the APP or web browser? Have you tried the alternative route? Could try using a different browser too.

Brandon(Post Maester)

It is most likely due to the Horizontal FOV optimization and a combo of fps and latency. If you are hitting the fps cap for whatever rendering mode you are using, try moving the "reduce shaking" slider in the main tab of the REAL overlay down and see how much that helps. If you are using 1/3 rendering mode, it will have the highest latency which will make this more of a problem. Being really close to the lenses will also make this more of a problem. Basically, the Hfov opti is stopping the game from rendering beyond your headsets horizontal FOV. This saves a lot of performance, but it can also create those black bars if latency or performance is not allowing your in-headset view to keep up with your head movements. Hope that makes sense. If you have additional overlays or software running, those may cause additional latency as well. I find I get lower latency when disabling Bluetooth, if you have that on but don't need it.

Brandon(Post Maester)

problem I have using Pimax Light is the black bars on de side cutting of the FOV. Probably because off using the Mata api. Is there a way to make the FOV bigger? can I enter a command line in the RealVR ini or something like that?

Maichevsky

hi sorry ive already asked in another post but i cant download zip file ,i have disabled avast anti virus and windows defender but all i get is This site can’t be reached The connection was reset. Try: Checking the connection Checking the proxy and the firewall Running Windows Network Diagnostics ERR_CONNECTION_RESET also when i right click on v21 zip link is open link in new window ,open link in new tab and inspect i cant figure out what im doing wrong. any help would be welcome and please assume your speaking to a noob :)

kevyp

Hmmmm, haven't played that one in quite a while :) I'll reinstall and see if the latest version still works fine or if I have the same issue. What controller are you using? What platform do you have the game one? Game version up to date?

Brandon(Post Maester)

Hi, I'm happy to join your membership! Your mod is super cool and you're really talented. However, I've encountered an issue. When I'm playing Horizon: Zero Dawn, I can't use the right stick to select the weapons on the top(UP) and bottom(down) when switching weapons — I can only select the left and right ones. Is there a way to adjust the settings so I can use the right stick to select the top and bottom weapons as well? Thank you!

Enix

The Hud scale slider in the FFRB tab of the REAL overlay works fine for me. Lowering it shrinks down the HUD.

Brandon(Post Maester)

FF7 rebirth, I cannot get the hud to change when I use the Real VR menu. Any fix please?

Vinesan Naidoo

You can try lowering the antialiasing in game settings to medium or low. You can also use DL(S)SS but the person that made the upscaler mod now only has it on his Patreon, so it will cost you $3 to join and grab it. Still worked when I tried installing it a couple months ago. If you are going to spend a lot of hours playing in VR, then it is well worth it.

Brandon(Post Maester)

Hi, just wondering if there's an easy way to launch the game with Real VR installed normally? I was playing for about an hour and began to feel quite unwell. Regards, great work.

SuddenDeath109

Hello there. I've been trying Elden Ring on my Quest 3 with the 20_2_0 (set on High) but the ghosting on the characters is huge ! Is there any particular action to do apart from the classic file extraction / RealConfig execution ? Thanks. https://pastebin.com/W7dxjM70

Thomas

Okay, it looks like the top post (above) is for version 19.2 whereas a little further investigation and the post mentioning Death Stranding is version 20.2. So all good.

Roguer62

Hi there. I purchased Death Stranding Director's Cut on steam since it's on sale. I ran it initially as required. But when I attempt to install the mod with the .bat file, it says that it can't find a supported game. I put the files into the directory which contains ds.exe. Any ideas?

Roguer62

CP2077 update 2.3 confirmed for 6/26. Looks like it might be a big one. Pretty sure it'll break the mod in week. Just a heads up Chooms.

Matthew Kinsey

There should be pretty much no shimmering around objects outside of a few situations with DLSS on and the DL(S)SS box checked in the Cyberpunk tab of the overlay. Transparent or really bright textures and lighting can still make that happen but that is somewhat unavoidable in VR mods. I don't use PT or RT lighting much, so I don't know what impact that will have but I wouldn't think it would bring back shimmering in a big way. Are you using the latest version or at least 19.2.0?

Brandon(Post Maester)

Can I ask a question as a new Cyberpunk VR user? Is the ghosting completely unavoidable? I see a faint outline of the object around essentially everything. Again it is definitely faint, but it is pretty distracting. Can this actually be removed with the right settings? I've tried DLSS and no DLSS and nothing changes.

9thPower

The light engine mod won't work with this one because they both use a dxgi.dll file There is no way to get them to work together unfortunately. The visual mod should work unless it needs the Light engine mod in order to work. I don't remember exactly what I was using but it should work if you are using the unpacker to implement it.

Brandon(Post Maester)

Hello i have a question i downloaded teh dark souls 2 mods DS2LightingEngine SotFSand this mod Scholar of the Second Sin Visual Mod, but every time i play and start the game i have black screen, i get sound and i see my menu and HUD but no Game World or something else. Tyvm for your help

Dagotan

I just got a new PC yesterday and I got my Quest 3 / Steam VR setup. On my last rig, Cyberpunk 2077 runs beautifully in VR, but on this new rig, the hud and starting menus are all distorted and I have to close one eye to view them properly (like I'm drunk and seeing double vision) - but once in game, it clears up and looks sharp oddly enough. Anyone else had this issue? I know it's some tiny thing I forgot to disable / enable, but I can't remember for the life of me.

sirenspear

Ahem....can we have Final Fantasy 16 VR? Pretty please 🥺

Wikorn Chatnarattanakul

What would be a fantastic experience is to play the Star Wars battlefront 1+2 classics in VR. getting some traction at the mo! need a comeback of these 2 classics !

Tomo

What headset are you using? The built in OBS capture only works for Oculus runtime. Star Wars Outlaws is currently broken after the most recent game update. Luke should hopefully be putting out a fix soon.

Brandon(Post Maester)

Hi Guys....back on the sub after a little break. Was killing time until I got my hands on a 5090. Now that i have, putting the mod through its paces...am having a couple of minor issues though so wonder if you can help? First issue, on Star Wars Outlaws the 1st person camera doesnt seem to be working. I set it in the Mod UI but seemingly has no effect...shoulder buttons do nothing (apart from the nix stuff). Is this a known bug or am I missing something? Second gripe. No matter how hard I try, I cannot seem to get a clean feed for capture. I want to grab path traced CP2077 in all its glory but obv standard feed has the double-vision thing. I enable OBS in the Mod UI but OBS seemingly cannot read it. Agaiin...am I doing something wrong? Thanks...and appreciate the continued great work :)

Smokey O

REAL mods don't support motion controllers at all. The UEVR mod for Hogwarts has a really cool motion control setup if you check the channel for that game on the flat2VR discord. For this version, try disabling DLSS and running around a bit. This has fixed things for a number of people. What headset and how is it connected if not DP?

Brandon(Post Maester)

this is the link to play hogwarts in vr right? like i can use the vr controllers while having the game booted on my pc? i cant even get it to run the vr simulation through my vr, its just like im looking at a big screen instead

Brannen darnelly

Still works for me, double check that none of the display settings have changed. Maybe try running the config file again? I know shooting the bow while on horseback is broken, and some other stuff might be but haven't heard about anything other than that so far.

Brandon(Post Maester)

Hello, KCD2 crashes at startup after patch 1.3. It worked for me fine in VR before patch. Any advice please?

Setting a value with the PPD slider in the REAL overlay and hitting adapt resolution button does not adjust the game resolution for you? Can you put a copy of your RealVR64.log file on pastebin and post a link to it here please?

Yeah, I think it just depends on hardware and system probably. It seems to work just fine for me with Cyberpunk on my 4090 and 5090 🤷‍♂️ I think the drivers are probably a bit of a mess atm.

Hey just a heads up, 576.28 driver update for nvdia isnt working. Looks like itll launch in vr but freeze and stutter way too much, showing steams background looking to the side. I went back to 576.02 and its fine now. Anyways, mentioning just in case. Oh and this is for cyberpunk so i know its getting up there in age lol

Hey there, experiencing some issues with FC6. Accessing the ingame menus (Arsenal etc) usually freezes the game. Also, injecting the resolution doesn't seem to work but I can force the resolution in the gamerprofile.xml file and set it read-only. I do have the Libertad modpack installed but I think these issues also occur without it. No rush, just reporting.

Thanks for sharing the great mods, I am encountering the behavior when applying cyberpunk2077 with your mod, when scanning NPCs with the Tab key, the scan UI moves on its own as if it is sucking on the NPC that was scanned just before.

how (badly) will this run on my AMD 6900XT?
