Fearless friend Beardo Benjo has ventured where nobody has ever gone before, and recorded footage of the latest beta version of the R.E.A.L. VR framework supporting Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered. The crash at startup with Spider-Man has been identified and solved, but I'm still investigating and trying to understand the performance issues with AER v2. No matter what happens though, I'm determined to release this new mod before the end of 2022 (so in the next three days).
Depending on how much progress I can make during this final rush, the mod will be more or less raw, but at least it will be playable and allow you to get a taste of what's to come.
Speaking of what's to come: since AER v2 was a bumpier road than I anticipated, and the gap between what shines on higher-end systems and what works for the rest of users is becoming wider than I like, in January I'm planning a period of consolidation where I won't introduce new games or additional tech, but instead just go through all the known issues and gradually fix them.

Sorry that I missed this Mark, it is best to post questions in newer Patreon posts so I can see them. I don't scroll back this far every day. Make sure you follow the instructions in the release post including renaming the interposer file. 2023-06-03 02:20:01 +0000 UTCSpiderman: Miles Morales crashes on startup. It goes into vr for a split second and that is where it crashes. Is there a fix for this? Sorry if this was explained elsewhere. I tried finding info and came up with nothing. Drivers are all updated, using the latest version of vr mod. Thanks in advance!

2023-05-08 16:53:05 +0000 UTCit says it installed. it loads with a strange grey screen in VR but doesn't do anything else. initially it did show a vr settings window but you can only see it on the PC. the VR headset just shows a grey loading box that never goes away.
