GTA V and RDR2 updated
Added 2022-04-27 18:34:41 +0000 UTCA quick heads-up: Rockstar just released updates for both Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2. As is usually the case, the updates change everything around in the game executable, and that means that Script Hook (a base component for modding Rockstar games) needs to be revised by its author.
Alexander Blade, the mastermind behind Script Hook, typically takes a few days to release a new version of his tools. This time however he will have twice the fun, due to the synchronized releases :-) Please have a little patience as there's nothing I can do from my end.
For GTA V, there is already a technique that you can use to temporarily roll back the update: https://github.com/LukeRoss00/gta5-real-mod/issues/440 I will update this post when new information comes up!
Apr 28: Guys, in other sad news, I'm deeply sorry but it looks like I won't be able to release even a rough version of my Elden Ring VR conversion by the end of the month, which is now just two days away.
As many of you have correctly pointed out, Elden Ring is a very fast-paced game (especially during boss fights) and that, combined with the fact that the PC port is, ahem, not one of the best ever in terms of performance, required me to really pull out the big guns this time.
As you know, I want the immersive experience to be at least as playable and fun as the original flat game, if not better. My ambition is always to make it possible for enthusiasts to play the whole game in VR, from intro movies to end credits, and for Elden Ring that means that I need to give the user much more control than normal.
I'll keep you posted!
