Cyberpunk 2077 R.E.A.L. VR mod

Update: Please download the new version 3.0.2 attached at the end of this post. It fixes two important issues (Q11 and Q12) as described in the Troubleshooting post.

Update 2: Guys, I'm sorry for not having been able to reply to your messages today! I worked all Sunday to fix a show-stopping bug (not my bug, guess whose) that was making almost all tooltips impossible to see in several UI pages: the inventory, when dealing with merchants, in the perks progression, and so on. My first priority is for all games I mod to be fully playable in VR, and this was absolutely crippling the experience, so I worked like a madman until I discovered and fixed the error. Please download release 3.0.3 at the bottom of the post: it also corrects a black-screen regression with RDR2 (my bug this time!).

Update 3: Today's update to the game, which should take care of the audio-related crashes at startup (without a bump in the version number: CD Projekt RED calls it "1.5 Hotfix") broke the tooltips again :'-| So I had to fix them once more, how fun! Please download the new 3.0.4 release at the bottom of the post.

Update 4: Very good news!! I found exactly where and how the game zooms the weapons into your face, so the next release will add the ability to manage that! You'll be able to control precisely how much zoom you want, from none to full, and with separate sliders for each weapon type (so for example you can hold the pistols at full arm length but move the sniper rifles closer to see the scope information well). Also coming are fixes for portions of the overlay being offscreen/unreachable with the mouse, full support for headsets with canted displays (Pimax, Reverb G2, Index with raw projections) with proper aim alignment even in ADS mode, and I also came up with an idea to bend the laws of optics a bit in order to provide acceptable 3D zoom even for headsets with canted displays :-) Sniper rifles and the Projectile Launch System will work correctly, with properly headlocked crosshair. All of that should be ready for release in a day or two, so stay tuned!!! [Out now with full changelog] Piece by piece we're gonna make this into the best VR game yet []-D

CP2077 is finally here!!! Wow, I can't believe it. This was the hardest game to mod by far.

The post contains: concise Quick Setup directions for the long-time Patrons who already have experience with my mods and only need to know what's changed in this release, followed by a more comprehensive guide for new users who would otherwise be forced to hunt for information through my previous posts (please scroll down past the YouTubers section). Go to Troubleshooting if you are having problems.

Also, amazing news! Guy Godin (the author of Virtual Desktop) and I have been working all week on compatibility issues, and we can now announce that Virtual Desktop will officially support alternate eye rendering and be fully compatible with my mods from its next version []-D

Welcome to the dystopian future!!!

Quick Setup (for returning users)

Run CP2077 at least once in flat mode, so that it can create your profile and settings; also make sure that it launches correctly without the mod (see the Troubleshooting post in case it doesn't).

After quitting the game, extract the .zip archive to the folder where Cyberpunk2077.exe is, something like "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64", being careful to preserve the directory structure (don't move any files around manually or delete anything) and confirm overwriting old files if needed. Then run RealConfig, which should report no errors. If your headset needs SteamVR, remember to uncheck "Use Desktop Game Theatre while SteamVR is active" in the Steam property page for the game. That's it: the next time you launch the game from Steam or the desktop shortcut, it will run in VR.

The game will start with a 2430x2430 resolution, which you can then adjust according to how powerful your GPU is. If you have a 3090 or 3080 you might bump it up to 2700x2700, while with weaker cards it's best to go down a notch or two. You'll want to target a frame rate of at least 60 fps for a fluid experience. Most graphics options can also be changed dynamically to fit your video card: however, in the GRAPHICS page be sure to leave "Motion Blur" set to "Off" as it's not compatible with VR. The Field of View setting doesn't matter, because the mod will override it with your headset FOV.

Check out the new controls for my HUD implementation in the "R.E.A.L. VR" tab! You can adjust the size and distance of the normal gameplay HUD, and also the magnification of the headlocked HUD when aiming or scanning.

Additional notes for YouTubers and streamers

The mod now comes with its own OBS virtual source for Oculus and SteamVR, which should make capturing the stream much easier. To enable it, find the "OBS video capture" group at the bottom of the "R.E.A.L. VR" tab and tick the checkbox. Then you should be able to see a drop menu to select the source resolution and which eye to display. "Crop sidebars" will zoom in the image a bit to (mostly) get rid of the black bars that appear on the sides of the screen when you turn your head fast (they're an artefact of asynchronous timewarp). To connect to the source from OBS, just add a Game Capture source and attach it to the game window. Even though on the desktop the view will flicker between the two eyes, in the capture preview and recording the image will be stable, because the virtual source will actually send the VR mirror output instead of the window contents. I experimented with an RTX 3090 and I can record 2160p@60 while playing on a single PC without stutters. Unfortunately OpenXR is not supported because that API is a bit stuck-up and offers no mirroring facility.

If you don't have a super-powerful GPU and you get missed frames while recording/streaming, try experimenting with the GPU Throttling slider in the "CP2077" tab. Default is -1, which means no throttling. As you move the slider toward the right, at some point (depending on your system) you will notice that the in-game fps start to decrease as more GPU priority is given to the VR compositor, but you stop getting dropped frames. Hopefully there will be a magic zone somewhere in the middle where the game fps are mostly unchanged but you'll no longer miss VR frames. It's very system-dependent, and of course it's also impacted by other programs competing for GPU usage.

Extended instructions (start here if this is your first R.E.A.L. VR experience or you want more details)

Before installing the mod, run CP2077 at least once in flat mode, so that it can create your profile and settings; also make sure that it launches correctly without the mod. See the Troubleshooting post in case it doesn't. You will need an original copy of the game of course; it's on sale right now on Steam, 50% off (I get no commission from them!).

After quitting the game, extract the .zip archive that you find attached at the end of this post to the folder where "Cyberpunk2077.exe" is (for example, if you have the Steam version, by default the path would be something like "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64"). Be careful to preserve the directory structure when you unzip: don't move any files around manually, don't delete anything, and confirm overwriting old files if needed. Also don't extract into a subfolder: "RealConfig.bat" needs to end up at the same level as "Cyberpunk2077.exe".

Then run RealConfig, which should report no errors. In case it does, please include the exact errors in your comment. If your bought the game from Steam and your headset needs SteamVR, open the Steam property page for the game and UNcheck "Use Desktop Game Theatre while SteamVR is active". That's it: the next time you launch the game from Steam or the desktop shortcut, it will run in VR.

My conversions use square, 1:1 resolutions, to avoid rendering lots of pixels that wouldn't be seen in the headset (in VR you need all the performance that you can get!). I modded the custom resolutions directly into the game, so it will start at 2430x2430 and you'll be able to customize that to your liking in the VIDEO settings menu. The window might overflow your desktop if the selected resolution exceeds what your monitor can display, but the image will be fully visible in VR.

If you don't have a very powerful GPU, the first thing you might want to scale down is resolution itself, because it has the largest impact on frame rate (again, only choose from the square resolutions). Most graphics options can then be changed dynamically to fit your video card: however, in the GRAPHICS page, make sure to leave "Motion blur" set to "Off" as it's not compatible with VR. The Field of View setting doesn't matter, because the mod will override it with your headset FOV.

If you have an HDR monitor connected to your PC it might be best to turn HDR off in your Windows settings; otherwise, since VR headsets don't support HDR, you might experience weird behaviors, black screens, crashes etc. At least that was the case with Red Dead Redemption 2; I didn't receive any reports for this issue with the Mafia Trilogy or Horizon: Zero Dawn.  Once the mod is up and running, you can activate its overlay by pressing the Pause/Break key on the keyboard, or by pulling both triggers on the gamepad (this latter gesture is recognized only when the game is paused, to avoid interfering with gameplay).

BTW, all my mods work with keyboard and mouse, but you will get the best experience using a wireless gamepad like the Xbox controller. Don't worry about console player syndrome: aiming is not driven by the gamepad itself but by your gaze, and after a few minutes it becomes so quick and intuitive that most players find it better and more precise than aiming with a mouse.

The overlay has a few tabs, and it can be navigated either with KB/M or with the gamepad. If you use the gamepad, cycling between tabs is performed by holding the 'X' or Square button pressed and then using the left/right shoulder buttons. You will want to check out at least three tabs: "R.E.A.L. VR", "CP2077" and "Overlay". In the last one, "Overlay", you will find checkboxes to enable monitoring your in-game fps and latency.

You should target a frame rate of at least 60 fps to have a good experience. If you get lower frame rates or stutters, please post a comment or contact me directly with your full system specs and we'll work it out. I employ asynchronous, alternate eye rendering, so it's not vital that the frame rate you get matches the headset refresh frequency.

Speaking of headsets, the best ones to experience my mods at the moment are probably the Quest 2 and the Valve Index. They work perfectly in every respect. With the Quest 2 both Air Link and the Link cable are supported, and you don't need SteamVR as the mod has a native Oculus renderer. Also, official Virtual Desktop support is coming very soon! With the Index or other SteamVR-only headsets, make sure that motion smoothing is turned off, either globally or for the game, since it doesn't like alternate eye rendering.

Due to a bug in the SteamVR driver for WMR that has been outstanding for many months, with WMR headsets like the Reverb G2 you will need to use OpenXR. Select the OpenXR renderer from the "R.E.A.L. VR" tab; the mod will save and remember your choice for the next runs. If you still have tracking jitters after that, get the OpenXR Developer Tools for Windows Mixed Reality from the Microsoft Store, and use them to check that your active OpenXR runtime is set to WMR (if it's set to SteamVR, tracking might still not work correctly). Then, in the developer settings page of the tools, you should make sure that Custom render scale is set to 100% and that Motion reprojection is Disabled.

Be warned: the game's first person camera is not for the faint of stomach! You will need to have your "VR legs" fully developed to enjoy it. If you still have problems in that department, go to the Advanced section of the game-specific tab, "CP2077", and deselect "Allow camera roll" so the mod will keep the horizon level even during cutscenes. Don't ever push yourself if you start feeling queasy, because you don't want to condition your brain to associate VR with sickness. Stop as soon as you feel the first iffy symptoms, and get back into VR only when you're feeling better.

Recentering the view is accomplished simply by shaking your head "no" once. It's very intuitive once you get the hang of it, just a quick left and right twitch (I find myself doing it all the time even in other games, then remember that it won't work there!) See here,  here and here for visual examples of how it's performed. The gesture won't be recognized by a few new headsets like the Varjo Aero, but I'm already working with them to fix the issue.

From the "R.E.A.L. VR" tab, if you want, you can adjust the size and distance of the normal gameplay HUD, and also the size of the headlocked HUD when aiming and scanning.

If you find issues with a specific mission or gameplay situation:

This is a huge game, and unfortunately its saving system does not allow replaying past missions. So save frequently, and if you encounter a problem (example: during mission such and such, when you get the weapon blah blah blah, the camera spins wildly), the only hope for me to be able to find and correct it is if you upload a saved game right BEFORE the mishap, with some instructions on how to reproduce the bug.

I've tried loading the game without the VR afterwards and it has zoomed in on my monitor. Not sure how to adjust it back to normal size. I have turned off the "autostart VR" but I can't seem to find another way to fix the window size when playing regularly (without VR). Any ideas on how to fix it?

After much playing around with settings I was able to find a very nice configuration for Quest 3. I have a mostly locked 72 fps with this and I havent seen any of these mentioned elsewhere so figure i'll share Specs: i5 11400F, 3080 10GB, 16GB Ram, Quest 3, Virtual Desktop, v16 Mod, No changes to graphics or res. (Dropping crowd density and disabling screenspace reflections are worth it though). RealMod Overlay: Runtime OpenXR with 1/2 rate rendering. Virtual Desktop Streamer App: Runtime VDXR Virtual Desktop Settings: FPS 72, Sharpening 0, Spacewarp Disabled This has given me great perf and fixed huge fps drop issues I had with going in and out of the pause menu in game with the Oculus runtime.

Hey, Mr. LukeRoss, I finally got my rig upgraded to something way above my GTX 1070Ti, and am now capable of playing Cyberpunk. The initial installation attempt was a failure due to not placing it into the correct folder, but the 2nd try went much better. Unfortunately, I completely forgot how to access the REAL menu to try to bump up my resolution (but after some reading, I remember its pressing both triggers AFTER you pause the game). About the only thing to mention was the appearance of a slight ghosting around nearly any character I came into contact with. It was almost like a transparent duplicate just behind them and to the left or right. I'm currently into a virtual training program right now, and while the gun was easy to use, the rifle ironsights had some slighty nasty triple-ghosting. I'm hoping when I next play the game and access the REAL menu, I can make adjustments to better the gameplay. Thank you for all you do for the VR community.

Yes, there are hud and camera adjustment settings in the mod overlay. Aiming Hud adjustment should bring everything in so you can see it better. If you need more control though Huditor offers that.

Hi FM, thanks for the feedback. Sorry to hear about your issues. With a 4080 you should be able to get Cyberpunk looking and playing pretty well. Unless you have a very old CPU or something else that degrades performance in some way. Of course what looks good is always somewhat a matter of opinion. There are specific instructions for install in the original post for each game but I definitely get what you are saying and things could be improved there for complete PC and VR beginners. A good place to start with Cyberpunk, after running the config file and going back to base settings, is to raise the game resolution as much as you can while maintaining at least 70fps(90 is better but stable 70 absolute minimum). DLSS quality seems to have the least amount of TAA haloing right now so turn that on which will help you get higher resolution as well. Also make sure you are using version 9.0.3 of Real and make use of the sharpening slider in the main tab of the overlay. With a 4080, you should be able to play at 3000/3400 resolution before adjusting any settings from base config. Things should hopefully be looking pretty decent at this point. If you are still struggling with visual issues here (Like haloing around things) You can always try Mono rendering mode in the Real overlay. You will loose Stereoscopic 3d but you are still in the game and it should look fantastic at that resolution. Let me know if that helps and we can go from there if you still want to tinker with things or have more specific issues. Also please ask questions in more recent posts from Luke. I do not usually scroll down this far in the post history :)

Just came in to try the CB2077 experience. Really liked it but opting out after 2h. Giving some tips as a thank you. First for installation instructions dedicated to idiots, you may want to refer to the exact ".exe" folder, rather than just mentioning generalities. Be more precise (even more, for each game, don't assume anything granted, mention stuff like " it's in bin + 64 stuff" and not in the lunch lunching interface folder, get it? if not, just proving that you must be precise). Second, wow, WOW, that was great. But i hate VR, probably because i got a Valve Cosmo, don't know. Made me sick, hated to have to fight for it, as always, but also everything is blurry, heavy, ecoumbering, too hot, too stressful, had to restart the game 24092823 times to get settings right, faced a million issues and crashes (though i have a rtx4080). In the end i understand why CDred does not propose the VR experience, it frustrated me to the bones and I could not properly engage any fight. But great work. This VR technology is for 2030+, not now. VR is a bit like the place i'm working for: for enthousiasts only. Enjoy though

thank you for the reply, i have the cp2077 1.61 update, seems it wont boot for a lot of people when this updat ecame out. real config went fine. infact it boots in 2d and i can see the overlay with the welcome to mod screen and turn vr on off select steam vr select oculus etc so the mod is runnning in the game but its... in 2d

Hi Erik! Why are you running RealConfig as admin? The program will ask for elevation itself, doing it manually might make it harder for the batch file to find your settings folders

You can do either. If the installation of the mod went correctly (did RealConfig give you any errors?) the game should start in VR no matter if you launch it from Steam or from the Oculus app

Ran into an issue when trying to run RealConfig.bat as an Administrator. "Error: Mod installation files not found. When unzipping the mod archive, please make sure to overwrite existing files and to use folder names (preserve the zip folder structure). Aborting RealConfig Press any key to continue..." Seems to run when double-clicked. Can't wait to play.

Hi Aitolda! No, that error is not caused by other mods. Please double check that you extracted the mod to the bin\x64 folder where Cyberpunk2077.exe is (full path for a typical Steam installation would be "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64"

Greetings. Trying this out for the first time with cyberpunk (steam version) and the current version "hotfix" I get the message "ERROR: This folder does not seem to belong to any of the supported games. Please make sure that the mod zip archive is extracted to the very same folder where the main game executable is found, and not for example into a subfolder." I saw someone else mention that above but they were on the GOG version but I am not. Is it possible my mods installed through vortex are somehow interfering?

Just loaded up everything. It looks great when I am still and looking around, but soon as I move or things are moving it gets really shaky and blurry. Any suggestions? Also not sure if its a bug but I have no weopon. Even if I punch an enemy and pick up a gun there is no way to choose a weopon to shoot.

I noticed while playing last night that I could swivel horizontally left and right with my PS5 controller, but couldn't move the reticle up/ down with it - for that I had to use head aiming. Is there a way to make it so I can aim with the right joystick and head aiming? By the way, I love your mod and I've been in awe of Night City in VR - so thank you.

That's not how VR works! If you disable head tracking, you will be dragging the virtual world along with every movement of your head, which looks terrible and is a sure recipe for sickness. Head tracking can only be disabled if you project the world on a virtual (possibly 3D) screen, but that's not what my mods do.

You're not supposed to use high settings! They're not affordable in VR with any current card, not even an RTX 3090. Run RealConfig again and stick to the settings it preselects for you, so you'll have some spare GPU power. Use that headroom to increase the resolution until the shimmering effect (due to the game's TAA not understanding stereo rendering) becomes tolerable

In case anyone else stumbles across this issue: I tried starting the game via Vortex (the mod manager), but that makes it crash right when it loads into VR (After loading into the beginning of the intro screen on the regular monitor). Starting the game via the .exe directly works fine, though.

"missing something key", that's a good pun :-) Usually those weird issues with the game and/or the overlay not recognizing keyboard and/or gamepad input are caused by Steam Input hijacking and messing up commands. If you have the game from Steam, try changing the Steam Input configuration (turning it on, off, setting to default...); unfortunately I have no clear indication to give you because it seems that different systems need different configs

Installed everything correctly as far as I can tell, and the game starts up nicely, with the overlay welcome screen popping up on my Quest 2, however no matter what I do, cannot get the welcome screen to go away (yes I am pressing the pause/break key). I even changed the key in the .ini file to be spacebar, doesn't seem to do the trick either. The keyboard is definitely working as the game menus respond to keyboard inputs, just seems like the overlay is ignoring the keyboard commands, am I missing something key here?

Thank you, I spent yesterday trying to set this up and the graphics were just off, and flickering - turning off motion blur made all the difference. The only slight issue I have now is that during combat I can't see any of my hud elements as I'm too zoomed in. Is there a workaround for this? Also great job on the mod, it's a great achievement.

About the OBS capture, I have everything on and selected and I have OBS set to record the game screen. However, OBS just records a black screen and nothing else. When I try and record the display instead, the framerate of the recording is probably 1 frame per second, and im not exaggerating. How can I fix this and get it recording correctly? Is it an OBS problem or a game problem?

I saw there is a keybind for the HUD for controllers. What is the key for keyboard? I don't have or want to use a controller. Even if you could just point me to the config file you use to bind it, that would be great. EDIT: I'm total gonk. The "Pause Break" key on the keyboard, next to Scroll Lock. So, I did everything perfectly, the game never gets into VR. In fact, it crashes the Oculus app over, and over, and over. Its like it keeps trying to open it, the screen goes black in my headset, then crashes Oculus, reopens it, crashes, goes black and so on. Never had an issue running any VR app on my PC (steam VR) using Rift S

Day one for me here, just set this up. Everything works great by now . First time I ran the bat file as admin , did not work and ended up with a basic desktop cinema like display all flat in VR. Next ran the bat file as current user and it ran and set this up. Then the game ran in full VR, simply amazing. I then changed another VR app that shows fps and uninstalled this app in Steam, did not want to see that fps counter in VR. This broke VR. I had to rerun the batch file and set up again. It looks like you will need to re-install the game.

So this was awesome the first time I ran it, then I tried bumping resolution. Game crashed and kept crashing on subsequent relaunches. I deleted all files, extracted again ran the .bat file, now game won't even open. Just nothing happens when I press the .exe lol bricked.... A few people around the web have this problem with CP2077 (when playing pancake I mean), and a quick search didn't come up with any good solutions apart from the usual: verify the game files, make sure no other mods are installed or left pieces behind, update your GPU drivers, and if everything else fails the dreaded "reinstall Windows" advice :-|

Iโ€™m playing on a RTX 2060, running medium settings, resolution of 2160x2160 and the game runs great and looks amazingโ€ฆfor about 10 mins then it starts stuttering and dropping to 10-20fps. The only thing I can do is restart the game to return the performance back to normal. Iโ€™ve shut down all external non- essential processes in windows and the outcome is the same. I also noticed if I die and the game has to reload a save, it drops to 10-20fps. Any ideas?? BTW - you do great work canโ€™t wait to try Elden ring!

Hey. Got the mod working fine and running at 60fps using a quest 2. I have an issue, don't know if this is just me. The best way I can describe it is that anytime a character gets close to me they shimmer and blur a lot, like its ghosting. The background and people far away are fine. Motion blur is set to off in the menu. Is there a way to get round this or is this how it is.

I just wanted to say "WELL DONE" my friend. the experience out of the box was amazing. almost no setup. the HUD is a bit wanky but workable. CD Project Red would do them good to get with you and make a AAA version of this mod for the game. Hell its damn near AAA already. For your records and others looking at this mod. It works fine on my rig comprised off; I7 8th gen processor, RTX 2080 Super 32 GB RAM 1 TB M.2. I was holding 60 FPS all settings Med and some High resolution set at 1920x1920 Ray tracing on.

It sounds like you may still be confused. Virtual Desktop is aimed at WIFI use. Though there is a wired version, it is for exclusively *wired* devices.

So, thank you for the support and the enthusiasm, but two warnings: a. the 1060 is quite underpowered for a game like Cyberpunk 2077 in VR, so you will be severely limited in the resolution you can achieve while maintaining good frame rate (you need at least 50-60 fps for a nice experience); b. my mods are super-intense and they are meant for people who already built their "VR legs"! If you start your VR adventure with them you will very likely suffer from motion sickness :-)

About the first part, definitely not! In VR it would make no sense to tilt your view up and down using the mouse or stick. The vertical movement must be driven by your head, otherwise you would get sick and the experience would not be realistic. For the second part, I will probably add free look as an option in a future release (it's already there in other games like RDR2)

Don't use SteamVR, it's unneeded and will only add overhead and possible issues. Just run RealConfig once (choose to (D)elete the settings) and then run the game normally, without opening SteamVR at all

Super cool mod, not surprisingly I can't run it. But . . .make a restore point!!!! I installed it correctly, I'm not new to this stuff, and something must have gone wrong bc it didn't just frag my game, it fragged my whole damn pc. Still getting it patched up but a restore point would have been the move lol. NOT BLAMING Luke Ross, just saying please folks, save yourself the headache, this is next level stuff that can f up your whole rig if it doesn't go right. Sorry, I misread the SteamVR section. Whenever I launch the game while in Airlink it doesn't go into vr view. Any idea what the issue could be? Running the realconfig.bat doesn't show any issues.

You should first connect to the Quest 2 via Air Link and then launch the game normally from Steam. I never said that SteamVR is not supported. It is, fully, but it isn't needed for Oculus and will only add overhead

How do you actually launch it in VR on the Quest 2? You said something about SteamVR not yet being supported and it will go through the Oculus app so do you just open the game on your PC and then connect to your PC via airlink and it will launch? I disabled theater mode on Steam but then I can't see it at all in Steam and on the Oculus Link homepage I could only see it in the theater mode.

Not sure what you mean? You can either be using Air Link or Virtual Desktop (the third-party app), they cannot both be active at the same time!

Thanks for the quick response. Yes I am using Air Link with virtual desktop. I changed to the mod version before it and it worked. But still it's a bit weird, like after 15min it was making me very uncomfortable. There is a sort of a stutter or just not smooth flow whenever there is movement (which i think it's just the way the mod is, right?). But anyways good work! If you have any tips for me to improve let me know. I do have the link cable too, and don't mind using it. Thanks in advance

on my quest 2 on RDR2 also I have the drag effect, it makes it not playable. I am new, now I am gonna try the older mods see if they work. any head movement creates double(multiple) visions. Any tips would be appreciated (Running on 3080, high setting), its the same on lower settings too.

But when I turn my head quickly, the black on the edge of the viewing angle will slowly drag a shadow. Even if I set the resolution to the lowest, the problem still exists. with the last versions of your mod, the game started in vr by default. but since the newest version, it starts in flat by default, and i have to toggle start vr in the mod overlay..i like that actually :)

You're welcome. Aside from the black screen when moving my head (just to clarify it's only around the edges, so it's a minor issue), I can honestly say everything works perfectly with iVRy (well for Cyberpunk, at least). I'm guessing it's an issue from the PSVR but I can't say for sure since I don't have a true PCVR hmd yet to test it. Either way it works as intended so that's good enough for me.

VD will only work with my mods from its next release. If you have a gamepad, could you try playing with the game window not in focus? Meaning, after you loaded the game, you click on another window like the Oculus app before playing with the gamepad. Does that solve your issues?

It took me a while to try this mod since I was hooked on Elden Ring but yesterday I installed it. Didn't work at first but that was because of the OpenXR toolkit. After that - just perfect. I was doubting if I should share this but.. when I started in VR I loaded an old savegame to skip the introduction chapters, just to see how the city would be in VR. That savefile started with me getting in to the backset of a car with a dude talking to me. I looked around while driving, admiring the city in VR. Then I looked down. I saw something.. pink.. between my legs.. I bend forward a bit to see what that was, thought it was a texture bug. Then I noticed there is a hole in the pants of the main character and her beaver is fully visible.. including all the details. Never had such a WTF moment in VR :D

I'm slightly new to VR and extremely new to running VR mods. I think I'm saying this correctly when I tell you my FPS is awful, the game is unplayable while in VR. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong because my machine should be able to handle the mod. (alienware r17 3070ti i7) when i turn my head the screen shakes or shutters bad and when I go to settings the text is almost unreadable. It looks as though there is zebra lines going through the text almost a lightning effect. But after lukeโ€™s last comment saying again he likes stereo, I decided to give a try again and force myself to play in stereo for a large amount of time. Itโ€™s been a very painfull first 30 minutes but i must say, after that, i got to enjoy it, even if the flickering still bother me, the environments are astonishing in 3d, and itโ€™s way better that way i have to say.the sense of presence of the npc is great, just like in regular vr ^^ And it run very well, way better than red dead actually โ€ฆ so itโ€™s great. Hey I don't know if you saw my previous comment here, but at that time the RealVR.ini didn't contain an [INPUT] section at all. Well after running the 3.1.0 update the RealVR.ini ONLY contains the line "[RVR]" and literally nothing else. I chose to D delete the previous settings so I could startf resh and this seems like it didn't do what it was supposed to.

Oh man I couldn't stand it but I tried to. I only played it on PC and absolutely hated it. That zoom window that pops up when you ADS... it was so low res and ran at like 10fps. It should have just zoomed in full screen like the flat version or they should have made actual scopes like in good VR games. The ADS aside they also used the PlayStation textures on PC and they are literally 1/4 resolution. The visual downgrade was massive (but at least you could install the hd texture pack as a mod but unfortunately they also changed geometry) and also unnecessary since Vorpx could run the same game with upgaded texture's at 120fps locked on a GTX 1080 FE. It could run BL2 just the same. BL3... That one's less optimized lol but seriously, I and many many other people would love for your mod to support BL1 through 3... You can skip 3 if you want lol, the series hit it's peak with BL2.

I have an 8KX and noted that if I changed certain things it would not load into the Pimax on next boot. So ensure you run the realconfig and delete the old settings and try again. Hope this works

ooohh are you the same drowhunter who co-worked on the Index360 script on github, which permits to emulate an xbox controller with the Index Knuckles? If yes, know that i've managed to play CP2077 in VR with it. The script works pretty well. Big thanks for this solution! I was even able to use the full potential of my Kat Loco with it. By any means...do you know if there's a way to do the same type of script (or modify the existing one)...but for the oculus touch controllers?

I would love this too, after Update 4 news its the only reason I have to go back to Vorpx. The only gesture I care about is the two shooting gestures , and grenade throw. I've actually been thinking it should be possible for me to create a generic software that will translate these gestures to keypresses and mouse movement for any game.

You can change markers with the D-PAD right and left ? By default you have only the missions, but you can change that. If you are trying with the nouse, maybe it's the bug he mentioned he's fixing.

Ah, right on, I figured it out now, thanks! So, yeah, it's showing 80~90 fps on average, with some dips into the low 70's and upper 60's depending on where I'm looking. I played for a bit longer this time, but there's still a funky "shimmer" or judder to all objects and surfaces near me as I move past them. (Or in the case of NPCs and cars, as they move past me.) If I stop moving, it's fine, but it's that shimmer/judder, whatever you wanna call it, that messes with me. I played for about 30 minutes this time, didn't get nauseated, but felt weird enough that I had to take a break. I'm not gonna sweat it though. This mod is way cool, but I think I still prefer to play in pancake mode most of the time. :)

I recognize the tremendous amount of work and talent that permitted to pull it off and I'm not complaining at all...just pointing interesting ideas i found which would potentially add more immersion. Plus in my case, vr controllers support allow to use natively some 3rd party devices that permit to move in vr by walking in place (kat loco s)

Thanks for the reply. I promise you pause key sin't bringing the overlay down for me. That said I looked in the RealVR.ini that I have and there is no [INPUT] section. Just [CP2077], [DEPTH], and [RVR]. It looks like somehow the ini isn't getting populated fully for me. I can send screenshots if it helps, but for now I'll try adding the line you've quoted and see if it fixes it.

Yes 100% proper stereo 3d it just runs twice as fast but has the slight ghosting. If you use quest 2 you can also enable spacewarp in the oculus utility tool that makes things even smoother

Certainly! Still in the jaw-dropping phase of the game though. Even the bobble-head dog in the car is still fascinating. Just driving around making turns to see how it moves is entertaining. Glad to find some radiostations with acceptable music. Managed to get through the first BD tutorial. The game is very complicated for an old dog like meโ€ฆ hacking, chips and upgrades, fixers, its all very confusing. Still, its a very worthy game to be blessed by your magic.

Oh, actually, that was another issue I'm having. Yes, I'm using OpenXR, but I can't seem to open the overlay with the tabs so that I can get to the settings for the mod. The instructions say to hold down the X button on my Xbox controller and then press the left/right shoulder buttons to navigate the tabs, but it doesn't work and instead just activates the default actions for those buttons.

I am afraid I am not done with writing about it, and may not be done for a while. After mostly testing the mod on previous savegames, I decided to give it a try from the top (played about 2 hours just now), Nomad intro, and it worked really well (one issue I think was shooting from the care where aiming down the sights froze but it's a quick sequence anyway). Played through the first mission very fluently. This sequence also demonstrates V falling to the ground, which is more comfortable to experience in VR than I would have thought.... The sequence where you are being driven through the city by Jackie in the rain (which I enjoyed flat and wondered how it would be in VR) also is a spectacle to behold. The thing is, I turn the mod on and don't want to stop. Ironic given how many references in game there are to VR. Loving it.

I'm already working on the giant-gun issue, I have made good progress and hopefully a solution will be in the next release! For the headlocked combat HUD, you can adjust its size if you can't see the minimap. The overbright exposure is a bug in the original game (happens in 2D too), depends on the car model and the weather. It's amazing that they haven't fixed it yet, but there's a mod on Nexus that partially solves it: https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/2375 I never saw the disappearing crosshair issue, do you have a video showing it?

To be honest I never enjoyed first-person driving in any game before VR, the FOV was just too small and the inability to properly look around for situational awareness was crippling. The only setup that came close to the real thing was the triple monitor surround. But in VR I can never get enough of it, I don't drive in third person anymore!!!

Alternative eye rendering, it basically uses some magic to double your FPS at the expense of slight ghosting in certain situations. It is the way to go for now until hardware catches up. It renders single Frame to 1 eye at a time alternating left then right really quickly rather than solid stereo 3d for both eyes at the same time.

Hiya, nope no settings per se but it's a good idea to map to numpad directions and reset in the middle plus and minus for zoom in and out. I used aim down site back and forth on the up and down arrow. It saves your settings but only per individual weapon (not weapon type) do every new gun you use you will have to adjust again. I would say find somewhere quiet and just play with settings. I am super happy with this and fixes it,!! Also it work for motor bike positioning too!! Do it will save on all your own bikes !! Super cool. Lowering the gun will help you get it even more forward but it affects height so just go until it feels right. It helps me a lot as I am tall do can push it far out in front

You must have done some performance optimization for 3.0.4 because I am now able to play the game in VR at a resolution of 1890x1890 with my RX 580. Have most of the graphics settings on medium and have FidelityFX or whatever it is set to Ultra. My frame rates go between 35 fps to 47 fps. Wasn't able to do this over the weekend. Had to play at 1350x1350 for frame rates like that. I just redid the Pyramid Song mission where you go underwater with Judy to visit her home town and then you get to romance her afterwards and all I gotta say is, its awesome in VR! Thank you!

To save on pixels, most displays save about 40% performance on pixels they would never see. With pimax that might be different with much higher fov. Might be worth setting it too low fov in pitool and push other settings a bit higher like resolution.

Guys, this mod really helps fix gun face . https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/1786 You can move the gun to a much more natural position also Aim down site can be pushed forward too. At some point the body starts to clip but you can combat this by raising the height of the camera (actually helps me as I feel too short in game) I just mapped the bindings to numpad, The adjustment of each weapon is saved but will need to be done again if you swap out to a different gun but for the life of your weapon you don't have to do it again until you upgrade. This has pretty much fixed all the issues I have.... I also have reshade installed too for a lovely sharp image with fake HDR.

Yes, I can use dlss and reshade to get mono looking good. Can see all the detail of the peoples pores and hair and things look great up close. Stereo just always has that shimmer around things no matter what I try so far. Just might have to enjoy mono for the time being until I can hopefully get a 3080ti for a reasonable price in the future :)

I have the same experience with stereo in Cyberpunk and Horizon Zero Dawn. But with mono I can even use DLSS to get a really good stable non-shimmery image without the blurriness around objects. Sucks that I can't really use stereo though. Stereo also breaks spectator view.

Just joined up to give this a try on my Pimax 8K-X. Long time Stereoscopic gamer familiar with TriDef, SuperDepth 3D, and vorpX, so hopefully I won't have to pester you with too many questions. But, one question. I'm very confused about why I would want a 1:1 resolution? My HMD is no where near a 'square' and I would be incredibly surprised if most modern games would even support a resolution like that as modern games in-particular can get very finicky if you aren't using a standard aspect ratio (many of them don't even support anything other than 16x9 properly these days, at least not until enough players nag the devs or fix it themselves with a mod). I guess I'm just a bit baffled by that suggestion and need to wrap my head around why that 1:1 is needed and how it even works?

I have the same issue with the extreme distortion around everything and I've tried every combination of settings I can think of. I have a Q2 and a 3080ti. I've tried link cable vs air link, 120hz on and off, different resolutions, all graphics presets, messing with DLSS (including off), switching the mod's render mode (stereo vs REAL). Nothing seems to get rid of it.

Same issue. Picking up things off the floor or worse, off bodies on the floor is really cumbersome, as well as reading the text. While not a deal breaker, it's one of those things that makes gameplay less fluent.

Works really good! A few small issues, like having to almost watch the floor to pick up items from dead/incapacitated npcs and as a result not easily being able to see the inventory text. But it looks amazing and plays really well! (Reverb G2)

For me changing the render resolution seems to reset or reinitialize the "renderwindow" so I can reach the top of the menu. Also the mouse cursor is locked to the square game window of the game and on my 3440x1440p display over half of the R.E.A.L. menu ends up outside the game window to the right by default, and as a result I can't reach all of it with the mouse cursor unless I drag it back into the game area manually.

I wasn't able to do it on my controller but I could bring the menu up using the Pause Break key on the keyboard, not sure if thats the same problem you're having but Id try that, also you can only see the menu with the VR headset on, at least from my setup. It wasn't visible on the desktop window of the game

I had the same blurry image, when I installed mod, it used resolution 1080p. Once switched back to 2400x2400 it becomes more crisp. And workable with DLSS on RTX3070&Ryzen3700 @60fps

I see why you are asking about this, but can you actually read the entire hud when in gun mode? I find that it is very difficult to read everything on the hud when it is in follow around mode because a lot of it is too far in the periphery even after adjusting it to be closer together in the HUD settings screen. Thankfully I can tell what I need to in gun mode, but outside of gun mode it would be impossible for me to read all of the info that is sometimes presented. I would especially miss being able to glance up to look directly at incoming callers.

Not sure if this has been asked before, but is there anyway to make the hud follow the gaze at all times and not only when in gun mode? The reason I ask is that I like to turn organically in games to keep the immersion going and so naturally don't use the thumbstick. This results it me having to constantly shake the head to reset view (cool feature btw). Oh yeah and I also have a RotoVR simulation chair (www.rotovr.com) where the chair moves in the direction of my head - i'm sure you can see why having the HUD follow me around would be just awesome!

How to properly update? I tried to drop 3.0.3 files on top of old ones, but still says that is a 3.0.2 and update available, then deleted old files and dropped new. But its still 3.0.2

Index. Theres no danger in going higher, you lose some fps so its down to preference. Also, try replacing the dlss file with the latest 2.3.7. I find it works very well and the shimmering inherent to dlss of older versions is almost gone and you gain back the fps from lower resolutions.

It works pretty well on my WMR and RTX 3080, but a bit too slow to keep me from getting motion sickness after 10~15 minutes, and yeah, I've had my VR legs for many thousands of VR gaming hours. Pedestrians and cars have a jitter to them as they pass by me that seems to make it worse. Also, I'm not seeing the sense of scale I was expecting. I mean, tall buildings look big when I'm standing at their base, but they just don't seem to convey a sense of height. Distant buildings are the same way. Sure, I get a sense they are huge, but their distance is hard to judge, as if the 3D effect diminishes over distance. Still, pretty immersive until I get too queasy and have to stop. :)

The files you copied over to install, delete them. Or you don't have to uninstall the mod. Just rename the file called "dxgi.dll" to "dxgi.bat" without quotations. This will prevent the VR mod from launching when you launch the game. You'll have to go back and redo your resolution and graphics in the games settings tab.

Anyone else notice that the sound in Cyberpunk is not positionally correct? I often hear enemy sounds coming from the wrong location which makes it harder to tell where they are at times. Also when talking with other characters the voices don't come from the proper location which is very obvious when playing in VR

Maybe start by trying different resolutions in the settings. That should make the biggest difference to the blurriness, before tweaking the other graphical settings.

got it running on my Ryzen 5 5600 / RTX 3070 but the image is.. I want to say blurry but also kind of distorted.. especially for objects in the distance as well as around the edge of the characters. The frame rate is alright, but the low fidelity and blurriness is a bit harsh. I don't see anyone else having this problem so I imagine it's something I'm doing wrong. Any ideas?

Here's the short of it: This is so far very very playable. I have just played it for 3 hours non-stop. I still want some issues sorted out, but I can't deny how playable it is once you get used to some of the issues. It's actually amazing doing the first Braindance segment, the opening Corpo sequence and some of the missions. This works well though and is actually quite amazing. The cutscene type sequences are also well done, and cause hardly any discomfort. The immersion here for some of these scenes, seeing characters up close just now makes want to play the game again in VR.

Is there any way to lessen the 'double image' or 'Ghosting' effect in the Red Dead VR mod when strafing? I'm running a laptop with a 3070, an AMD Ryzen 7 5800H with Radeon Graphics 3.20 GHz 16gb of ram at 3200mhz. Cant find a solution anywhere online. This effect also occurs in gta5 VR although its far less and hardly noticeable. Thanks.

I have the same issue with the guns. Too close to my "eyes". And other issues: When weapon in my hand, the hud display not fixed anymore, it is follow my head movement. In combat, I can not see the minimap 'cos it is follow my head when I look up. Next issue with the gamma. In daylight, the image too bright, when Im driving I barely see anything. And the last issue with the crosshair. In combat, it is dissappear or barely see and I have no clue where I firing. But great mod.

Great job Luke. What a magnificent achievement. Once again I find myself feeling sorry for the poor souls that only experience pancake gaming. Runs very well (3090) at the 32xx resolution. Gun-in-face syndrom took some time to get used to but was fine at the end of the the first firefight. This is going to be a wild rideโ€ฆ

The answer to this is change your weapon, the shotgun works very well and the sickness subsides. It is the pistol which is the big problem so basically drop it when playing in VR.

Luke, you and your counterparts are the true heroes of gaming! You basically give the developers a whole new version of their game. I have been gaimg for decades now and i'm still baffled by simple things like CDPR not putting a reverse camera for first person driving??? Why not?? but now with your mod, at leat i can physically turn around and look out the back! Its like the dude that did the Ghost Recon Wildlands first person mod, obviously a lot smaller scale than what your doing but he's given ubisoft a new game for free! i got 60fps and more with my rtx 3080 ti in resolutions above 3240x3240 with "quality dlss". since 1.5 dlss with minimum sharpness looks great ! i have added reshade sharpness, vibrance and fake hdr and now with this extra reshades and dlss it's amazing !

So, my opinion, and I specify, completely personal. The VORPX mod is really not easy to adjust. And for a much less fluid result than Mr Ross's. The Hud is badly adjusted, almost unreadable (even with the best setting).I admit that the possibility to use gestures is really good, but I prefer to walk around in a smooth world. That said, you can test both and make up your own mind very easily. The 2 mods are deactivatable^^

DLSS in performance and turn off fidelity because thats for AMD GPU's. Im running rtx 3070 TI and low on everything but 2700x2700 res and DLSS performance and is running at 72FPS. I changed to 2430x2430 and now is locked at 90fps so run a lower res and you should be good my guy. Good luck

after the update In red dead redemption 2 the screen goes black at the start of game play except for the pause menu. I fixed the problem by reverting back to v2 2 5.

Just dropping by to say that this is working really well. I'm on a Rift CV1 with a 3080TI and it was buttery smooth at 2700x2700. I had a flatline issue right at the start, but I think that was resolved by disabling the Steam overlay in-game. It also may have been because SteamVR wasn't running the first time I launched CP2077. There were a few UI quirks with weapon sights, and in-game UI (for cameras and consoles) though - I can grab a video if you think it'll be beneficial?

DON'T use 16:9 resolutions, as 44% of the pixels your GPU renders will go to waste! You don't want to throw away all that performance in a heavy game like this. Also don't raise the settings to Medium, see Q7 in the Troubleshooting post!

Thanks for this. Until I had heard of it, I didn't realise I needed it :-) I've just tried on an HP Omen laptop 3060 graphics and Ryzon 7 5800H. I had to drop the resolution down to 1920x1080 to get the game to work without stuttering. (Quality set to Medium) I'm getting around 60fps and the game is very playable but not as pretty as if I had a better graphics card :-) I'm going to try to tweak things so I can up the resolution.

The interactions with monitors have been a bit weird: usually I needed to activate the monitor (holding X), then B to exit the monitor view. Then I simply had to look at the buttons on the game monitor and press A to activate them. I never could move the cursor with the left thumbstick.

Tried with my Pimax 8KX and I found that when using the scan function the target cursor is not properly aligned, meaning I have to aim to the left of whatever I'm trying to scan for it to work. I then tried it with my Quest 2 and did not have this problem. Must have something to do with the Pimax canted lens.

This is so great! I do have an interaction problem - I started as one of the Corpos and I have to go and read something off a computer, but when I sit down it doesn't seem to let me move the right stick to interact with the computer so that I can select files/folders, etc. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong? (Other than that - the first few minutes have been AMAZING!)

I have 2080ti, 32 ram and everything is pretty smooth (unless I change my position, I sometimes pop into arm pauldron, lol). But fuuuuuu....... I love it so much! It's easier to use with xbx pad rather than keyboard/mouse so I have troubles with shooting yet but still... WOW.

I have lowered the resolution in game to 1080x1080, stopped VR with the Stop VR button of the overlay, then I awkwardly navigated to the inventory. I tried to compare two guns. The "tooltips" still appear incorrectly, up high in the screen, missing maybe 3/5 of it. You can't see any tooltip at all for clothes (or certain weapons). It seems that the tooltips appear at the same relative position as with the higher default resolution.

If you are getting around 80fps on a 2080ti, I wonder what the hell am I doing wrong, as I'm getting on average 53fps or so, and my CPU is a i9 12900k, so it shouldn't give me any trouble. I wonder how to disable mirroring to desktop on OpenXR, in case that helps.

Vive Pro on 2080ti works at around 80-85fps at default settings applied. I found I prefer motorcycles to cars in VR pretty quickly. Some jitterness but a good experience overall. Anyway to get some frames back by minimizing the desktop output?

Hoshi82, Joel, could you please try this: lower the resolution to 1080x1080, so the whole game window will fit on your monitor, then from the mod overlay push the "Stop VR" button, then open the inventory. If the issue persists, then the problem is with the game expecting a 16:9-ish aspect ratio, and it will be much more difficult to fix. If the issue goes away in 1080x1080 with VR off, then it's my bug and it might be easier to solve!

Great job, sir. For me, far superior to Vorpx. It's fluid, and clear for all the menus. The only flaw on my side is the impossibility to have the object comparisons in the menus (they seem to be outside the window, on top). For the aiming of the weapons, once we got used to the left traget system to have the eye on the viewfinder, it's only happiness. If you manage to patch the small problem of comparison, I will be in the angels ^^

I'm on an HP Reverb G2 and can confirm. It's like the "tooltips" of the item descriptions, comparisons, etc., appear way too high in the interface. You can't even see the description of the perks you are supposed to pick.

The best way to record the mod is with OBS as I added my own virtual source (described in the post). Otherwise you can set ShadowPlay to record the Oculus mirror window! For the overlay you can use the keyboard as described in Q4 in the Troubleshooting post, when the launch dust settles I'll look into DS4 compatibility

I'd advise you NOT to go to Medium-High settings but to stick with the Low-ish settings which the mod preselects, and which I use myself on my 3090. 2700x2700 on M/H is too much even for a 3090 and won't allow you to achieve a good frame rate, which in turn will exacerbate the AER artefacts that you're describing. Or you can play in Mono which will double the effective framerate per eye. To deactivate VR see Q5 in the Troubleshooting post.

Trying to run in virtual desktop from quest 2. The headset movement is very jittery. Also it doesn't reliably use headtracking for aiming/turning.

When in inventory the stats comparsion between two items does not work. Even if you try to set it on or off it doesn't help. On cloth it shows nothing and with weapons it only show the bottem half of the stats window. Aiming with sniper scopes seems also bugged. Scope not moving with y-axis. You still shoot where you look but the scope stays on the x-axis and just rotates left and right but not up and down on the y-axis.

Working great on Oculus Quest 1 with Air Link. R9 3900, RTX 3080. Gameplay vise ran beautifully for half an hour I played and recorded internally on Quest's recoridng system meanwhile. Is there way to see only one eye on the desktop as I would love to use Shadowplay to record, but on desktop it looks like both eyes are rendered over each others and window is glitching? Also for some reason controller input for mod overlay doesn't work, works still fine in RDR, Dualshock 4.

Doesn't work with my HP Reverb G2, I switched the VR renderer to OpenXR and when I click the Start VR button I got the WMR animation when you start a game but it goes back right away to the WMR Home. Works fairly well on my 3090.. Sitting on mid-high settings at 2700-2700... However I am getting a slight jitter as I move... I don't think it is my pc as the game is still running smoothly,... sorta looks like one frame is out of step or something if that makes sense.... Is this expected? Not game breaking,... but doubt I could play a whole run through with it... which leads me onto my question... is there a way to switch vr on / off? Or do I have to yank the files out whenever I wanna play it on monitor?

The CV1 works beautifully! It doesn't look as sharp as the newer headsets of course, but I still use it as a development workhorse, because those OLED colors are something else :-)

While I respect your opinion, that's the way the game works, and there are no mods (that I know of) which allow you to change the weapon position or hide it, so it must not be as simple as you might believe. You could try playing in Mono if the close position of the gun bothers you so much.

It was unplayable for me, with the pistol out. Motion sickness hit hard when that happend. And that is normally not a problem for me. Mod would be better then with just a reticle then, and no visible weapon. Having a pistol almost on your face is not working.

When you first launch the game, it says at the top of the screen to press both left and right triggers on your controller at the same time or the Pause key on your keyboard to bring up the RealVR menu.

Also had a problem seeing the hacking menu, where you choose which hack to activate. It is in the left side, too far out in the periefrie of my eye, and when the menu is activated, it locks the screen. Would be optimal, if you could look around when the menu is activated.

That's correct, unfortunately that's exactly where the game's animations put the weapon! You can experiment with the "Tweak aiming camera" control: "Free aiming camera distance" will allow you to pull back a little with your head IRL, and there's also a slider to control the camera position. Pulling back too much will clip through the character or their clothes though. It's not perfect but it's the best I can do for now; perhaps some mods will come out that change the arm animations to put the gun further from the character, where it should be.

Awesome mod and you're right. I'm gonna have to upgrade my RX 580 card. I'm able to play at I think its 1360 x 1360 with graphics settings set to high. I get between 32 to 41 fps. Driving through Night City is awesome. Setting the graphics to low or even medium just made it look not so good. I'm thinking about buying a 2060 but I think I remember reading one of your posts where you was using a 3060 and I think you said that card was having some trouble keeping up?

Mod looks amazing great job :) However I'm near the start of the game doing The Ripperdoc and can't see any hover item descriptions in the inventory or edge net. Pretty much makes it unplayable. Any ideas?

Ran great until first fight. The Pistol is right in front of my eye, like the handle is touching my face. Not in streached arms as it should be? Is that deafult, or did I mess up some settings? When I zoom in it does not get much better, all I see is hands and gun in center like my arms are attached to my chin. Really kicked in with motion sickness too. No problem in all of the intro without fight.

On a HP Reverb G2 and a XBOX controller: I can't operate the monitors that I can use through holding X. A cursor appears on the game monitor that on the flatscreen I would move with the mouse (if I recall correctly), but nothing on the monitor responds. The cursor doesn't move with either thumbsticks or any buttons, and I can't do anything except exit the "monitor view" with B. I first noticed this at the mission when you discover that woman naked in a tub.

Please try temporarily disabling the mod by renaming dxgi.dll to dxgi.bak, then launch the game again to double check whether it runs correctly without the mod

Which folder did you extract the mod archive into? Were you careful not to create an extra subfolder?
