Chapter 41: Do you want to rob the hispanics again?

16 year old Steward from the trailer park group was loading blue leather into cardboard boxes and taping them shut and printing out shipping details and posting it on the boxes.

Like many of the other gangs in the gameworld, the trailer park gang spent most of their time running their online store where they sold off the resources from the gameworld.

“I’m going to the post office now. Help me load these to the trunk,” Annie said, and grabbed a box and hauled it over to her small car.

Steward followed suit.

The rest of the group were busy in the gameworld and Steward and Annie were responsible for shipping duty.

“So instead of getting revenge for Paul, we’re just gonna ignore the boogeymen and keep running our online store?” Steward said while they were driving to the post office.

Annie sighed.

“What do you want me to do? Buy a gun? Go over and shoot them?” Annie said.

“Just give me some of the cash and I’ll buy a gun and a vest. I’ll finish them at night when they’re sleeping,” Steward said.

“Okay. And what if they find you before you find them? What if you miss and they shoot you? What about me when you die? Do you even care about me?” Annie said.

“Shut up,” Steward said.

There was silence until the end of the drive.

“At least I wish we didn’t have to bury him in that stupid world,” Steward whispered to himself. The group couldn’t figure out a way to take his body out of the world without cutting him into pieces and bring him out piece by piece. So they just decided to buy him in the butterfly monster zone. Because butterflies seemed like the least monster like monster in that world.

Brian read the text message he received from Howard.

“I do not know. You three have pissed off so many people that it is hard to tell at this point. I will tell you as soon as I find out. Please refrain from showing up to my civilian businesses,” Brian read out loud.

“He’s probably lying. Maybe it was him who put the hit on us?” Jack said.

“Maybe, maybe,” Brian said.

“Or maybe the hispanics?” Lucas said.

“Maybe, maybe,” Brian said.

“Or maybe that trailer group,” Lucas said.

“Annie would never do that to me. She loves me,” Brian said, while touching his broken rib.

“I have the perfect solution. Let’s rob the hispanics. Last time we did that they had a shit ton of crystals,” Jack said.

“That does sound like a good idea…” Brian said. Lucas nodded his head in agreement.

All three of them almost got spotted because of all the noise they simultaneously made from receiving the skill at the same time.

The skill taught them the very basics of moving with more stealth. Importance of wearing black. How to walk in a certain way to have more stealth. The fact that they would be way more silent if they took off their boots. Also some basic breathing techniques for making less sound.

All three of them were on their stomachs holding their assault rifles, facing the nearby group of hispanic grinders.

They had been following them all day now. There was still light out, so they had to follow from a far distance.

When the hispanic group finally stopped to rest, Jack and Lucas and Brian decided to get closer and get ready to ambush them.

The hispanic group had made a campfire and were roasting food. Also, they had no scout to take watch while they were eating.

“On three,” Brian whispered.

Jack and Lucas readied their weapons. Lucas was shooting with a shotgun and Jack with his assault rifle.

“One,” Brian said.

Jack tensed up. He took a deep breath in and out to relax himself.

“Two.”

Lucas was squeezing his shotgun very hard and the finger on the trigger was shaking.

BOOOM!

Before Brian could say three, Lucas accidentally shot his shotgun.

He hit one of the hispanics in the leg.

Brian and Jack, who were already on edge, immediately opened fire.

Lucas kept pumping and firing and Jack and Brian kept shooting.

“Shit!” Brian yelled.

“What a waste of time…” Lucas said.

The hispanics had not a single skill crystal on them. It turned out that as soon as they got a skill crystal, they would immediately crush it.

“We just wasted an entire day for nothing. If we just grinded ourselves we would have gotten more out of it,” Jack said.

“It was your fucking idea, idiot,” Lucas said.

“Fuck off. I never hear you contribute to the innovative thinking,” Jack said.

“I had the slave idea, so fuck off,” Lucas said.

“Guys, just shut the fuck up. Let’s get out of here before anybody checks out the gun sounds. Shit,” Brian said. And they took off running.

After they were done running, Brian stopped them all and said, “Okay. New gameplan. I have an idea.”
