PS5 From Temu Just PS2 and PS3 Glued Together

Shopping website Temu has been trending lately for a few different reasons. Some people are calling it the new Wish.com after discovering items they purchased were not quite as advertised when they arrived. Others are complaining about the high volume of emails they’re getting from the site.

One man recently placed an order for a Playstation 5 being advertised on the site for the low price of $150. When it arrived at his house however, he found that it wasn’t quite what he expected.

“It’s an outrage! You can’t offer a PS5 and then deliver two other older products,” Complained Fred Oolish, a father of two who initially thought he’d found a bargain. “The worst part is that they came in a PS5 box which only made my kid’s disappointment that much stronger.

“It was literally just a PS2 and a PS3 stuck together. They’re stuck on there good, too, so if there’s one thing I can say for them at least they used a high quality super glue. Doesn’t change the fact that my children are in tears and I’m out a hundred and fifty bucks!”

Many people like Fred have reported similar issues with Temu but none quite like this. The Oolish family reached out to Temu’s customer service for comment. Unfortunately they did not receive what they’d consider a helpful response:

“Thank you for contacting Temu Customer service! We’re happy to offer you a 50% coupon on all of our fabulous gaming products. Such as the brand new Xbox Series Q, the Nintendo Switch 5, or the Sega Dreamcast!”

Unfortunately Oolish hasn’t heard anything else from them yet and is worried about other recent purchases he’s made from the site.

“I’m so frustrated and stressed out about this whole thing!” Oolish said, fighting back tears, “I ordered my wife a bracelet that’s supposed to contain a piece of the Hope Diamond. Now I’m worried that won’t even be real! I paid $400 for it!”

The Hard Drive team reached out to Temu for comment but we’re still sorting through the 300 emails they’ve sent us today to find the one pertinent to the story.
