Irina's Happy Mistake 4

“Is that the sound of cars pulling up?”Carlisle asked. Instead of answering Tanya motioned for her coven to line up in formation to greet the guests. There was no doubt it was the guard but Tanya was surprised that they rode in vehicles and didn’t come on foot. Setting herself in front of her coven Tanya saw that the others were thinking the same thing as her. Except for Carlisle who had his family in a straight line. They wouldn’t be able to defend or attack anybody properly like that but Tanya didn’t care about them. What she cared about was the royal guard member who opened the back door to one of the SUVs and the woman who emerged. She was wearing an outfit that was straight out of the old west including the two six shooters that were holstered on her hips. Her brown hair was braided and covered with a bowler hat. The outfit made her look like a wealthy business man from the 1800’s. The outfit was pristine. Perfectly pressed and accessorized with a pair of flawlessly shined boots and a pocket watch. Tanya thought the woman was gorgeous and if things were different she would have made a move to bed her.

“Irina?”Kate stared in shock when the woman dressed in old fashioned clothing held out her hand and helped Irina exit the vehicle. Kate had no clue what was going on or why Irina was wearing a very elaborate tiara covered in diamonds and jewels. Plus a very expensive necklace and matching earrings. Kate looked to Irina’s hands and found they had multiple rings on her fingers. Her sister definitely didn’t seem like she had been treated unwell by the royals.

“Hello Kate.”Irina greeted shyly staying a step behind Isabella.

“So you all have gathered to defend the Cullens.”Isabella swept her gaze across the group stopping on the Amazons.”Ok if the three of you are here then not everything is as it seems. Would one of you care to explain what’s going on?”

“Well you see…”Carlisle began only to be cut off by Isabella.

“I don’t trust the word of weak men.”Isabella turned her attention back to the Amazons.”Now then. What is going on?”

“I am not weak!”Carlisle was far from weak.

“Everyone here knows you’re weak Carlisle. Hell the entire vampire population knows you’re weak. It was the reason I told the queens to kill you when you showed up at the castle. I knew you would be trouble and from I have heard happened in my absence I was right. Now shut up and let the adults speak.”Isabella turned her head to the sound of a female voice laughing coming face to face with a beautiful blonde haired vampire.

Rosalie’s laugh stopped suddenly when she met eyes with the stranger she took to be Isabella. It wasn’t the strange orange that caught her attention it was the fact that when she looked into those eyes she felt an overwhelming feeling of love and attraction. Rosalie had no doubt that she had just found her mate.”Shit.”

“Who are you?”Isabella asked her mate.

“Rosalie Hale and you?”Rosalie held out her hand to shake.

Isabella ignored the hand and pulled her into a hug.”I’m Isabella Volturi and once I’m done I will be taking you away from all this.”

“Thank you.”Rosalie felt her body and entire being relax at those words fully believing Isabella was going to save her from the Cullens.

“First we have some things to take care of.”Isabella pulled out of the hug.”Stay close to me or Irina and you will be safe.”

“Alright.”Rosalie happily followed Isabella to stand with Irina and the other guards.

“What’s going on?”Irina asked. She was confused because she didn’t feel jealous watching Isabella and Rosalie hug.

“I like my mother have two mate bonds.”Isabella knew that the queens were going to be overjoyed to learn of the new mate bond.

“You’re mated to Rosalie?”Irina wasn’t sure how she felt about that. She didn’t hate Rosalie she just didn’t want to have to share her mate now that she found her.

“You have two mate bonds?”Rosalie asked.

“Yes I’m mated to Irina as well.”Isabella told her.

“What the fuck?!”Kate couldn’t believe what she was hearing.

“Is that true Irina?”Tanya hoped it was because if it was it would give the Denali a level of protection from whatever punishment the group was about to receive.

“It’s true.”And it was something that Irina was counting on keeping her family safe.

“Now then let’s get back to the matter at hand.”Isabella turned her attention back to the Amazons.”Senna my friend what is going on?”

“The child Irina saw was not an immortal child. Lauren gave birth to it while she was human. Edward is the father.”Senna wasn’t worried about Isabella hurting her coven. That gave her confidence to speak the truth.

“So it’s a hybrid. That’s an easy mistake.”Isabella could easily see how Irina could have mistaken a hybrid for an immortal child.

“You know about hybrids?”Carlisle was very surprised to hear that.

“Of course I know what hybrids are. Do you think you are so special that your first turned is the only one to have sex with a human? What did you do in the castle other than whine and complain about how vampires live their lives? Honestly you are a disgrace to your species.”Isabella had no respect for Carlisle.

“Carlisle isn’t a disgrace you are.”Edward wasn’t going to put up with anyone speaking about Carlisle that way.

“You must be the whiney bastard that was to stupid to check if his mate was dead before running off to die.”Isabella took a step towards Edward and inhaled”You smell like a coward.”

“What the fuck?”Kate muttered when a trail of smoke left Isabella’s mouth as she spoke. She had no clue what kind of creature produced smoke like that.

“I’m no coward.”Edward was highly insulted that Isabella would call him such a thing. He was also pissed that his gift stopped working on everyone in the group including Rosalie.

“Rosalie is Edward a coward?”Isabella asked her mate.

Rosalie took a moment to fight Carlisle’s order to not badmouth Edward but found that it wasn’t there.”Edward is the biggest coward out of anyone I have every met. He believes he is better than everyone and has grand plans of killing you and the guard and then going after the queens.”

“Rosalie shut your mouth.”Carlisle didn’t understand how had Rosalie gotten past his command to not say anything but he needed her to shut up.

“Is that true Maggie?”Isabella knew that Maggie wouldn’t lie to her.

Maggie was not pleased that the attention was on her.“Carlisle came to all of us with his plan to kill you and the guards. Then he wanted to gather more allies and overthrow the queens. Every single one of us told him we wouldn’t be involved and only stayed around to witness the child’s growth so that you would know it wasn’t an immortal child.”

“Who was involved in this scheme?”Isabella asked.

Tanya took the chance to speak to clear her coven of any guilt.”It was Edward’s idea but Carlisle, Esme, Jasper, Alice and Lauren were all in agreement and were the ones who planned it.”

“So the coward thinks he can take the throne.”Isabella said.

“I deserve the throne more than the queens and once I kill you I will move on to them.”Edward told her.

“Well you just confessed to treason in front of a group of witnesses and the Volturi Princess.”Isabella unholstered one of her guns and pointed it at Edward’s head.

“What are you going to do about it shoot me?”Edward laughed.”You must be more stupid than I thought if you think your bullets will hurt me.”

“Any last words?”Isabella asked.

Edward smirked.“I don’t need any last words because you aren’t going to kill me.”

“I’ll make sure to put that on your headstone.”Isabella cocked the gun then pulled the trigger causing a bullet to fly towards Edward’s forehead. Edward’s smirk turned into a face full of panic when the bullet lodged itself in his skull. His reaction was too late to remove it before it detonated and blew his head up causing it to catch the rest of his body on fire all before Edward had gotten his hand to his chest.

“Gods.”Tia didn’t know what to think as she watched the Cullens minus Rosalie, Emmett and Joy trying to put out the fire raging through Edward’s body and having no luck.

“How did you do that?”Kate asked Isabella.

“I simply aimed and shot.”Isabella told her.

“No I mean how did the bullet break his skin?”Kate had never seen any type of weapon pierce a vampire’s skin.

“Do you honestly think that I wouldn’t spend time coming up with weapons that would kill a vampire? They are my number one enemy.”Isabella had been working on ways to hurt vampires ever since her first interaction with one that tried to kill her and Athenodora.

“What are you?”Carmen asked.

“I’ll kill you!!”Carlisle was going to make Isabella’s death painful.

“Today I am death.”Isabella said as she pulled out her other gun and without even looking shot Carlisle in the chest.

“Nooo!!”Esme screeched as she rushed to Carlisle’s body that was engulfed in flames.

“I wouldn’t get to close.”Isabella warned. Esme didn’t heed the warning and put her hand on Carlisle trying to pat out the flames but instead she caught on fire. Isabella caught the looks that who she took as Alice and Jasper from the descriptions of the Cullens she was given were giving each other and knew that they were going to make a move to flee. Before they could she shot both of them as well.”I believe there is one left to take care of.”

“Please I have a child.”Lauren wasn’t sure what the heck was going on but she didn’t want to die.

“Where is this child?”Isabella didn’t hear it’s heartbeat.

“She is with her imprint Seth who is a wolf shifter on the reservation where she spends most of her time.”Rosalie was very happy with how things were turning out. She hadn’t expected when Irina ran to the queens to not only find her mate but that all but one of her tormentors would be killed.

“How old is the child?”Isabella asked.

“Laura is two months old.”Lauren hoped that the stupid child would keep her alive.

“How long has she been with the shifters?”Isabella wanted all the facts before she made her judgement.

“She spends most her time with the shifters. As a matter of fact she hasn’t been home in two days.”Rosalie was all too happy to throw Lauren under the bus.

“You are such a loving mother that you let your two month old live full time with shifters knowing how volitive they are when they are young?”Isabella didn’t wait for a reply before she lifted her right hand and shot Lauren.”Alright the insurrection has been taken care of. Unless I missed someone?”

“No you got all of them.”Tanya was quick to assure Isabella not wanting herself or her coven being one of the orange eyed woman’s victims.

“Zafrina is that true?”Isabella asked her friend.

“It is true Bella. As a matter of fact the group of us were making plans to reach out to your mothers to report them but you showed up before we got the chance.”Zafrina told her.

“Bella?”Irina had never heard anyone call Isabella Bella before.

“They have special privilege to call me that because they used to babysit me when I was younger and my mothers were away.”Isabella didn’t think she had needed a babysitter when she was an over a century old but it made her mothers feel better about going off on their own knowing someone was with her.

“You used to babysit her? Why didn’t you tell us that?”Kate didn’t know why the Amazons didn’t mention that.

Senna shrugged.”It wasn’t relevant.”

“It would have made us feel a lot better about our chances of being heard out.”Kate said.

“I understand the rest of your intent on standing before us today as witnesses. However this is a situation that you should have brought to the queens. Regardless of what you think they would have not killed you over something that was obviously not your fault. If anything they would have been able to help by giving you information on the situation as I’m sure none of you have any knowledge of hybrids if you were worried you would be killed. You are all free to go but I’m very disappointed in all of you for making this such a big production. Also the next time someone speaks of overthrowing the queens in your presence immediately reach out to the queens. I’m told that in these modern times it takes only a second to make a phone call.”Isabella told the group.

“We will.”Amun was going to contact the queens even if someone made a joke about overthrowing them after seeing how easily Isabella had killed off most of the Cullens.

“We will as well.”Siobhan was thinking the same thing as Amun. If anyone contacted them for help again they would immediately tell the queens. She wasn’t sure what Isabella was but the had a feeling the guns she carried weren’t the only weapons she had to kill vampires.

“Us to.”Tanya was going to ignore any attempts from other vampires to get her help and just like Siobhan immediately report them to the queens.

“Good. Now then I don’t care what any of you do now but I would like to speak to the Amazons if that’s alright with you?”Isabella wanted to catch up with her friends.

“Of course Bella. We were very happy to hear you had woken up. Does that mean you are fully recovered?”Karichi and her mates knew all about Isabella’s fight with the dragon that left her severely injured.

“I am and was planning on visiting you in a couple weeks.”Isabella said as she walked towards the Amazons ignoring the rest of the group.

Tanya took Isabella being distracted to approach Irina.”What the hell is going on?”

“When I went to the castle to report the Cullens for creating an immortal child I met Isabella and realized she was my mate.”Irina told her.

“So you finally accept the fact that Laurent was lying to you?”Kate asked.

Irina lowered her eyes in shame.”I am very sorry for all the trouble and fights I have caused.”

“I am personally happy with the way things have turned out.”Rosalie had wanted to go with Isabella but didn’t want to interrupt her time with the Amazons.”I found my mate and am completely free of Carlisle, Edward and the others.”

“What kind of bullets did she use?”Emmett had never even heard of a weapon hurting a vampire before.

“Did she tell you anything about them or the guns?”Kate asked Irina. She wanted to know so she could get a pair for herself.

Irina shook her head.”I just thought they were part of her outfit.”

“She does look good in an old fashion suit.”Rosalie thought that Isabella looked very attractive dressed in old fashion men’s suit. It made her wonder what she would look like in clothing from Rosalie’s human life. Rosalie was already mid fantasy of her and Isabella dressing up and going dancing.

“Everyone we are going to take our leave.”Amun told them when he approached the group.

“We are as well.”Siobhan didn’t want to stick around anymore and risk angering Isabella.

“It was good to meet you all.”Tanya said.

“You too and next time something happens please refrain from reaching out to us for help.”Amun didn’t want anymore trouble.

“We are more than happy for you visit but like Amun said please refrain from reaching out to us for help.”Siobhan told them.

“We won’t.”Tanya would go straight to the queens if they had any problems.

“Good bye.”Siobhan said before taking off with Liam and Maggie into the trees.

“Bye.”Amun said the Egyptians following after the Irish coven.

“So what happens now?”Joy didn’t know what to do.

“What do you mean?”Tanya asked.

“Well everyone in our coven except for myself, Emmett and Rosalie are dead. What do we do now?”Joy had no clue how to live in the world without a coven.

“I’m going wherever Isabella goes.”Rosalie was going to follow her mate.”As for you two. You have always wanted to travel so why don’t the three of us divide up all the assets each of them left behind and you guys do that.”

“How are we going to get access to everything?”Emmett liked the idea of traveling.

“I can ask Isabella if she knows someone that can help?”Irina figured that Isabella would be willing to help Rosalie.

“If she could that would be great.”Rosalie would happily take the help.

“Let her finish with the Amazons and I’ll ask her.”Irina told her.

“If you are mated to Isabella does that mean you know what type of supernatural she is?”Eleazar asked.

“I do but it’s up to her to tell you.”Irina didn’t want to upset Isabella by revealing her secret even though she didn’t think Isabella would care.

“You’re not going to tell us?”Kate desperately wanted to know what Isabella was. Especially since she exhaled smoke.

Irina shook her head.”It’s not my place.”

“She’ll tell me though right?”Rosalie wanted to know what her mate was.

“Of course she will.”Irina had no doubt that Isabella would tell Rosalie that she was a dragon.

“That’s right you are both mated to Isabella. How do you feel about that?”Joy wasn’t sure she would be alright with Emmett having a second mate.

Rosalie thought about it for a moment.”I would rather have Isabella to myself but if I have to share her I would rather it be with Irina than anyone else.”

“I have seen how close the queens are and how much they love each other and Sulpicia and Didyme don’t even have a mate bond they are only bonded to Athenodora. That makes me believe that Rosalie and I will be perfectly fine in our relationship with Isabella.”Irina had seen how close the queens were and knew that Rosalie and her could easily become just as close.

“Well regardless of the situation I am happy for both of you.”Tanya was a little sad she hadn’t been the one to find her mate but Irina and Rosalie yearned for one more than anyone.

“What’s going on?”Irina asked when Isabella walked up to them. Looking around she noticed the Amazons were nowhere to be seen and the guards were driving away in the cars the arrived in.

“The Amazons have gone home only after they made me promise to visit them soon. I was planning on it anyway so it wasn’t hard to agree. The guards I sent home because we aren’t going to be bringing anyone back to the castle.”Isabella told her.

“I’ve never been to the Amazon forests.”Rosalie said.

“You’ll love it. The food is plentiful with both animals and human lawbreakers.”Isabella had a great time every time she went.

“You eat humans?”Kate asked.

“I eat ones that break the law.”Isabella usually ate the humans after the Amazons drained them.

“You really eat humans?”Irina wasn’t sure how she felt about that.

“Humans are rather delicious.”Isabella had lived off humans for the first few decades of her life.

“What are you?”Rosalie like Irina wasn’t sure how she felt about Isabella eating humans.

“Irina didn’t tell you?”Isabella would have thought Irina would have told everyone.

“It’s not my secret to tell.”Irina said.

“It’s not a secret at all.”Isabella really didn’t understand why Irina withheld the information.

“So you will tell us?”Eleazar asked.

“I am an ancient dragon.”Isabella smiled at the looks of shock and disbelief she was getting from everyone but Irina.

“No fucking way.”Kate didn’t believe that for a second.

“It’s true. I’ve seen her in dragon form.”Irina told them.

“Holy shit.”Emmett said.

“Dragons are real?”Tanya wasn’t sure she actually believed that.

“There aren’t many of us but we are very real. Eleazar surely you knew.”Isabella knew the man lived in the castle. He would have at least heard rumors of it.

Eleazar shook his head.”Myself and most of the castle had no clue and the people who did know didn’t say anything.”

“Well now you know and with that I have to go meet up with the shifters and see the child.”Isabella needed to make sure the child had its needs met and the shifters had the proper information on how to take care of it.

“Can I come with you?”Rosalie didn’t want to be away from her mate.

“Sure anyone who wants to come can come.”Isabella didn’t care who went with her. They were Rosalie and Irina’s family.

“I’m coming.”Kate wanted to see a dragon interact with the wolves. She was hoping for a fight.

“We’ll come as well.”Emmett was of the same thought as Kate. She wanted to see a fight.

“I’m going with you.”Irina wasn’t going to leave Isabella’s side no matter what.

“If it’s alright with Tanya we would like to go to.”Eleazar wanted to learn more about the hybrid and knew that his mate would want to see the child.

“I’m fine with it because I was going to come as well.”Tanya wasn’t going to leave her coven alone with a dragon. Even if that dragon was mated to Irina. That being another issue that needed to be talked about.

“Good then lead the way.”Isabella held out both her hands for Irina to take one and Rosalie to take the other.

Rosalie happily took the hand.“We will have to meet them on the treaty line.”

“That’s fine.”Isabella didn’t care where she met them. She wanted to get this over with so that she could spend some time with her mates. She also wanted to go home so she could speak to her mothers. Isabella knew that Athenodora was going to tease her for taking after her but Isabella didn’t care. She had more than enough love in her heart for two mates and to build on that love they needed to have some time alone. That being something only she and Irina had about an hour of. Isabella was pleased that it was so easy to snuff out the rebellion before it got off the ground. The Volturi didn’t need to be involved in another situation like the one they dealt with in the 1500’s when a coven of vampires thought it smart to form an army and storm the castle. They of course were defeated easily but a lot of innocent humans and vampires died because of their stupidity. Innocent vampires and humans being what the queens dedicated their lives to protecting.
