Hermione Granger Savior of the Wizarding World Becomes Britain’s First Muggleborn Minister Of Magic!

Hermione Granger Golden Girl herself has been officially named Minster of Magic after a land slide victory over her opponent Marcus Flint. Flint as everyone knows is a pureblood member of the Flint family whose main platform was to bring back traditional values. Hermione’s platform was equality for all wizarding kind to include magical creatures. That not being that surprising as the new minister shares a child with Fleur Delacour a French Veela and next in line for clan elder to the Delacour flock. A child conceived during the war. Although it didn’t hinder Hermione’s fighting ability as she fought the war while pregnant giving birth a month after she cast the killing curse that killed the Dark Lord.

With a half Veela daughter many are wondering what plans the minister has for the future of Britain. Her work in Wizgnots already caused waves as she filled her five seats with women from very different statuses. One of the first fights being allowing a Veela and a vampire to occupy a seat. For those who don’t remember Ms. Granger earned her seats by becoming the Head of Household for five pureblood house. The Crouch family she earned the title by killing Barty Crouch jr. during the Tri Wizard Tournament after uncovering he had been impersonating Alastor Moody. Something even Dumbledore didn’t know about until Ms.Granger revealed it. The death of the last heir magically transferred the title to Ms. Granger due to an old pureblood law.

She then obtained the Head of Household to the Black family by killing the traitor Sirius Black. It was Ms. Granger who came across evidence of Mr. Black’s dealings with the Dark Lord and even though no one believed her she risk her life to prove it to her allies. Coming upon the truth led to a duel that ended Sirius’ life and brought to light his misdeeds. Some may be wondering why Harry Potter the man’s godson and chosen heir didn’t inherit the title. The reason being that Sirius never adopted Harry in an official blood ceremony. There were rumors of Harry trying to force Hermione to give him the title but no one has confirmed it.

The next title she gained was the Malfoy family. A family that was considered the perfect example of a pureblood family. From the outside it look like Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy were madly in love raising their son in the perfect image of his father. That however couldn’t be further from the truth. Narcissa was bond to Lucius by blood magic and was forced to obey him. It that wasn’t surprising enough it was later revealed that Draco wasn’t even her son. The boy was a half blood that was the result of Lucius’ affair with a muggle. Those things were not revealed until after the war. The former Lady Malfoy obviously holds no grudge for Hermione killing both of them in her daring escape from being held hostage at Malfoy Manor because she has been representing Hermione in the ministry for the Malfoy family since the war ended.

The Lestrange brothers met their demise at the end of Hermione’s wand during the battle of Hogwarts. Rabastian had cornered a group of students and was throwing hexes and curses at them. Hermione had come along and wasted no time casting the killing curse, making sure the students were alright then moving on. There were no witnesses to what happened with Rolodphus but many described hearing his blood curdling screams and continuous begging for mercy. Once the screams stopped Hermione was wearing the Lestrange family Head of Household ring.

The final pureblood house she became the head of is probably the most mysterious. Gideon Prewett is a man that hadn’t been seen in public since the first war. The only reason it was known he wasn’t dead was because his sister Molly Weasley would have inherited the title because Gideon had no children. It is unknown why but for some reason Gideon transferred the title of Head of Household to Hermione after the war. No one has ever been able to give any solid facts on why he did. When asked Hermione always replies no comment. Gideon has never made himself available for comment. His sister Molly however has made many and none of them are fit to be published in this article about our new minister.

I don’t know about you readers but with all the prestige and wealth our new minster has been using to already make Britain a better place I am very excited to see what she has in store for the future.

“I like that they didn’t even talk about your politics just the fact that you killed a bunch of people.”Andromeda said as she handed the paper across the dinning room table to Narcissa.

Narcissa read the article over.”I’m pleased that although they mentioned Harry and Molly they didn’t go into your feud with them.”

“I’m sure that both of them and Ron will have many things to say to the media before the day is over.”Hermione wouldn’t be surprised if the trio did a group interview.

“I don’t like that they mentioned our daughter.”Fleur would prefer that her and Hermione’s child be left out of the media.

“The fact that our daughter is even known to the public is because of your mother.”Hermione reminded her.

Fleur sighed.”I understand her reasoning as having the savior of the wizarding world give birth to a half Veela is good publicity for our flock. I just hate the way she parades Helen around in front of everyone.”

“She hardly pays attention to our other children. Something that isn’t a problem now but I fear in the future it will create a lot of resentment.”Celeste Fleur’s mate said.

“Now that Hermione’s minster I fear she is going to get worse.”Fleur didn’t regret having a child with Hermione as the only way to save her when she came to Shell Cottage was to use Veela magic on her. A side effect of that magic was sometimes the receiver if they were a woman became pregnant. Fleur and her mate weren’t upset finding out about the baby and had welcomed the child with open arms. After the war the pair had moved in with Hermione and had been raising Helen together with Fleur and Celeste’s other two children as a happy family.

“What does Greta say?”Narcissa asked.

“My mother tries to get her to calm down but it’s almost impossible. You know how she is.”Fleur’s other mother Greta was the reasonable one and the only one who Appoline listened to.”I overheard her talking to her assistant about throwing a big party to celebrate your victory.”

”I’ll make sure not to agree to any future invitations to visit.”Hermione didn’t want to attend a party.

Andromeda moved her chair closer to Hermione and gave her a kiss on the cheek.“Come on my love you know you love a good party.”

“That’s not true and you know it.”Hermione hated parties. Especially ones that were for her.

“What about that one we went to in the muggle world to celebrate pride. You seemed to enjoy that one.”Narcissa smirked seeing the blush that came to Hermione’s cheeks.

“I was a lot younger then and didn’t have the image of minister to uphold.”Hermione was still mortified by her actions during the event.

“Thank god for muggle cameras so we can relive those moments anytime we want.”Andromeda never went anywhere without a digital camera. They were a lot more convenient than a magical one.

Hermione groaned.”The stupidest thing I ever did was teach you all about muggle technology.”

“I for one am glad you did because my life wouldn’t be the same without Warrior Nun.”Celeste said.

“I like House Hunters the best.”Narcissa liked seeing inside all the muggle homes.

“Your love of that show is the reason I own a dozen muggle mansions all over the world.”Hermione could never say no to Narcissa and had given in every time she asked for something. It didn’t matter if it was a new robe or a multimillion pound estate.

“You need to learn to tell her no.”Fleur said.

“Like she would ever tell any of us no. Even you and you aren’t in a relationship with her.”Andromeda knew that Hermione would never actually tell them no. She cared about them all to much.

“I only ask her for things for our child.”Fleur told her.

“Then where did you get that new painting I saw in your sitting room?”Andromeda asked.

“I didn’t ask her to buy that.”Fleur had only mentioned she liked it when she, Celeste, Hermione and Narcissa took the children to an art exhibit.

“But you didn’t object when she gave it to you.”Andromeda knew that Fleur made Hermione well aware that she wanted the painting so that she would buy it for her.

“I don’t control what Hermione does with her money.”Fleur had a small trust fund that she got when she bonded with her mate but it wasn’t that much gold. She was expected to live at the Delacour family manor with her family and her needs would be met from the family vault. It was because she lived with Hermione her mother had cut her off as punishment for not living with the flock. Luckily Hermione was beyond wealthy and liked to take care of those she cared about. That included each of them getting a large monthly allowance. Hermione even gave Celeste and their other two children money every month. It was something Fleur was extremely grateful for and thanked Hermione many times for.

“Speaking of what Hermione does with her money I need to get to ministry. I have a meeting with the director of the Muggleborn Integration Initiative about Hermione giving a donation.”Narcissa was more than happy to be the face of Hermione’s many charitable endeavors.

“I should get going as well.”Hermione wiped her mouth on her napkin and stood.

“What are you up to today? Nothing with the ministry?”Celeste knew that Hermione didn’t have to take over from the minister for a few weeks.

Hermione shook her head.”I’m going to finally face Bellatrix.”

“So you have decided to stop punishing her?”Narcissa asked.

“She brought it on herself.”Hermione said.

“I doubt she sees it like that.”Andromeda stood from her seat and gave Hermione a kiss.”I am going to go bug Nymphadora. Then I have a meeting with Celine. She wants to discuss a coven of nomad vampires that would like to settle down in Britain.”

“I have a meeting with Griphook. He wants to negotiate the terms of us giving him the goblin forged items that we found in the old Shafiq estates we bought.”Fleur told them.

“Remind him that any dark magic has to be removed before we hand them over.”Hermione wasn’t against giving the goblins back their items she just wasn’t going to allow any dark artifacts to fall into their hands.

“He will fight me but don’t worry. I know how to handle a goblin.”Fleur had a good relationship with goblins. The had mutual respect for each other as Fleur was a magical creature who helped fight for goblin rights from her ministry seat. That and the fact that she was a part of Hermione’s house and Hermione was a firm believer in returning goblin made items to goblins gave her a leg up in their negotiations.

“I have no doubt.”Hermione knew that Fleur wouldn’t let the goblins run all over her.

“What are you up to today my love?”Fleur asked Celeste.

“I’m going to enlist the help of a few elves and take the children swimming.”Celeste didn’t have a job. She stayed at home with the children. Something she chose to do as she had always wanted to be a stay at home mother.

“That sounds like fun.”Andromeda made a mental note to schedule some time to spend in the pool with the children.

“It does.”Hermione gave Andromeda another kiss.”Try to stay out of trouble and don’t give Dora to hard of a time.”

“If my daughter can’t handle a visit from her mother then she shouldn’t be an auror.”Andromeda loved going to Nymphadora’s department and embarrassing her.

“I’m going to have to protect our future children from you aren’t I?”Hermione asked.

Narcissa made her way over to Hermione, wrapped her arms around her and gave her a hard but quick kiss.”You will have to protect them from all three of us.”

“The things I put up with for love.”Hermione wouldn’t have it any other way.

Andromeda rolled her eyes.”The things you put up with. How about the fact that we have to put up with you being in a relationship with our sisters?”

“In my defense I was only with Narcissa in the beginning. It was her that invited you into our relationship.”Hermione was content being with just Narcissa and pushing away her feelings for Andromeda.

“That is true and means that you owe me Andy.”Narcissa hadn’t minded sharing Hermione as the girl was perfect for Narcissa and her sisters.

“How did Bella get involved then?”Andromeda asked.

“During one of Narcissa’s visits I went with her and Bella walked up to me and kissed me. From that moment on we were together. There was no discussion or anything.”Hermione told her.

Narcissa took a minute to think about it.”You know you are right. She did just kind of claim you without asking.”

“Classic Bella.”Andromeda would expect nothing less from her sister.

“Anyway let’s get our days started. I want to deal with Bella while I have the energy.”Hermione said.

“Meet me for lunch?”Narcissa asked Hermione.

“Your office?”Hermione would prefer they eat in a nice restaurant but didn’t want to deal with the crowds.

“Sounds good.”Narcissa agreed releasing Hermione from her hold.

“See you at noon.”Hermione turned her attention to Andromeda.”If the nomads are looking for a secure place to settle down I have my eye on some of the Nott family’s estates that are perfect for them. One of them has a large manor and guest houses built into the side of a mountain.”

“That would be ideal. I’ll let Celine know. I predict these aren’t going to be the only magical creatures that are going to move to Britain now that you are minister.”Andromeda figured that the British population would have a large growth with Hermione in charge.

“I heard a few rumors that some of the smaller Veela flocks that share territory with larger ones are considering coming here to set up a new territory as this one is unclaimed.”Fleur told her.

“We will deal with it when it happens.”Hermione didn’t want to think of the many headaches to come.

“Have a good day sweetheart.”Andromeda leaned forward and gave Hermione a kiss.

“You to.”Hermione said.

Narcissa leaned in for her own kiss.”I’ll see you at lunch.”

“I’ll be there.”Hermione promised.

“I’ll let you know about the goblins.”Fleur told her as she followed Narcissa and Andromeda out of the room.

“Thanks.”Hermione turned her attention to Celeste.”As always if anything happens send and elf or a patronus and I’ll be home immediately.

“I will.”Celeste liked that Hermione was aways available no matter what was going on.

“See you later.”Hermione said following the others to the fire place. She was not looking forward to dealing with Bellatrix but it was a necessary evil. The woman wasn’t going to be in a good mood. Then again Bellatrix was rarely in a good mood. The only time she was happy was when Hermione or her sisters visited. When she was on her own she terrorized the guards and the healers that saw to her physical and mental health. Healers that Hermione didn’t trust at all and used her position as Bellatrix’s head of house to forbid them from giving Bellatrix any potions or other types of treatment. They were only allowed to check her health not treat it. It was Andromeda and Hermione who treated Bellatrix. They had her body back to peak physical condition and her mental health was the best it had ever been. Bellatrix was the shining example of what it meant to be reformed and Hermione couldn’t wait to present her to the rest of the world.
